Newly refurbished apartment in the centre of Madrid in a typical building with balconies built in 1888. The flat comprises of 1 double bedroom, lounge dinner with balcony, kitchen & shower room. It's situated on the 3rd floor and is bright, quiet, compact and comfy. La Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Reina Sofia museum & Atocha station are just 10 minutes walk away and the Retiro park and the Prado Museum are 15 minutes away. There are loads of bars, restaurants, taverns, shops, theatres & cinemas really near by and the underground station is just 2 minutes up the road.
A car isn't really required unless you wish to venture off into the countryside or visit other Spanish cities and towns. Public transport in Spain is pretty good and reasonably economic.
