The house is a two floor maisonette surrounded by a beautiful lush, green garden with tall everglades and mouth-watering cherry, apricot, pear, lemon, orange, plum and peach trees all of which are available for our guests’ enjoyment. There are also seasonal, brightly colored flowers, which create a beautiful contrast against the soft, earth-toned colors of the exterior walls.

The location itself is nestled in gently sloped hills, ideal for beginner or expert climbers. The area consists of single or two-family houses, spaced far enough from each other to have privacy but close enough to feel part of a community. There is visibility to Marathon Avenue upon which the world-known races are held several times a year. Within a walking distance from the house there are stores, a supermarket, bakery, gas station, which make this house ideal for those who like to enjoy the quiet home life. The combination of this with the proximity of the sparkling, crystal-clear waters of the shallow cove make it an ideal vacation home for spending hours at the beach..
 

The community provides a wide selection of restaurants, tavernas, bars, clubs and cafeterias, most of which are located on the beach and provide their services at very reasonable prices. The famous historical sites of Marathon are also nearby. (Don’t miss out on the Marathon Tomb, Vranas and Ramnounda)
Other activities include walking or bicycling on the relaxing beachside which runs several kilometers along the shores of Nea Makri, Marathon and Schinias beaches.

The villa is a mere 40 kilometres from the center of Athens, with access to public transportation if one so wishes. This means that day trips to the breath-taking sites of Athens are just a short drive away. Furthermore, one can take trips to the famous Greek islands from the port of Rafina, which is just a 10-minutes ride away.

 

The entrance of the villa is an open-spaced drive way, surrounded by grass and leads to beautiful stone steps to the first floor. On the side of the garden, there is a very large outdoor kitchenette and barbecue, covered so that it can provide shelter from the sun. An adjoining bathroom gives the ability to the guests to entertain themselves with garden parties on a large Greek marble table seating 12 very comfortably.

Upon entering the house on the first floor, you are welcomed by an open-spaced living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom This space is 60 square meters surrounded by an oversized balcony of 30 sq. meters. The heart-warming Greek sunlight brightens this area for the major part of the day.

The kitchen is equipped with all the modern necessities, such as big refrigerator, ceramic top stove, microwave, dish washer, bread-maker, toaster, pots, pans, etc.
The wooden staircase at the far end of the dining room leads to the top level of the villa. There, you enter a comfortable library, equipped with books, magazines and games. In addition, the electric organ will provide many hours of entertainment for the musically inclined. The floors are of solid oak and the ceiling is designed in a beautiful, cozy chalet style.

The adjoining doors lead to the three bedrooms which have impressive brass beds holding orthopedic mattresses. Two of the bedrooms extend to private balconies.

The bathroom is conveniently located next to the bedrooms and has three large windows providing a relaxing view of the garden and surrounding green hills.

This is a villa well-worth its money for the invaluable feeling of home which is priceless. It is impossible to fully convey the extent of amenities and atmosphere which it provides and can only be fully appreciated once one becomes a part of it.
 

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 single and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 5 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television video, dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming calls only.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The location of the villa means you will hear some noise, though not excessive. It has a garden, a balcony, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
