Casa das Oliveras is close to Moncarapacho, Olhao, Estoi and Fusetta, only 25 minutes from Faro airport .

The surrounding area is rural and totally unspoilt and known for its extensive citrus and almond groves. However you are still only 30-35 minutes away from major Central Algarve attractions.

The villa is of the highest specification - with marble floors throughout, stylish comfortable modern furniture, with air con/heating in all bedrooms and own glorious south facing sun terrace with 10m x 5m heated swimming pool State of the art solar provides hot water.

The entire villa has been very tastefully furnished in modern style and is equipped to the very highest standard for 8-10 people.

This villa itself is exceptionally spacious. The photos really do not do it justice. Over 237sq m of living space. You will be thrilled. There are 4 spacious bedrooms (2 x doubles + 2 x twin) all with floor to ceiling fitted cupboards. One room has a digital safe.

The 4 bath/shower rooms are luxurious and fully tiled (2 are ensuite). 2 have bath/shower, bidet, toilet, vanity unit. I has a massive Swedish power shower

The huge master bedroom on the first floor has its own furnished terrace where, sitting of an early evening one can enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and, perhaps, the occasional glass of wine!! You will fight over this one!!

The large marble topped kitchen includes hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle , toaster and everything you could possily require. There is a washing machine in the utility room.

The large lounge / dining area comfortably seats 8-10, has satellite TV, DVD player (which also plays CDs), open fireplace with doors to pool terrace.

On the pool terrace there is a large BBQ, sun loungers, a large table with seating. There is further seating in the lower garden which is beautifully designed with a traditional rockery and tropical plants. Very restful.

The pool is very special being of the 'clearwater' (ionised) type, therefore requiring absolute minimal amounts of chlorine to keep it sparkling clean and healthy throughout the season.

There is a sturdy portable cot and a portable/folding bed in the villa, which can be placed anywhere allowing maximum occupancy of 9 using portable bed and baby in the cot(10)

There are some truly glorious beaches and beach islands nearby, many which are accessed by small boat/train (great fun for all the family), the closest being at Fuseta approx 7 miles away.

GOLF - done the golf courses in West/Central Algarve?? Been hassled and asked to move on quickly?? Try beautiful new golf courses in the Eastern Algarve. Stress free and easy to book.

There are five golf courses all within 20-30mins, including the championship Quinta de Cima golf course, named in the 2004/05 Peugeot Golf Guide as the Best Golf Course in Portugal. Ria, Benamor and Castro Marim are all within 20-25 mins away. There is also a 9 hole par 3 course, pitch and put and driving range just outside Moncarapacho itself. Fun for all the fmily. There are a further 5 golf courses approx 30 mins away in Spain.

Within Moncarapacho itself there is a excellent supermarket, 2 mini markets, cash machines, petrol station, pharmacy, post office, bars, some truly excellent restaurants, cyber cafes and other local shops. Moncarapacho also has an excellent museum. Within a few kms is the wonderful town of Olhao with its fishing port, wonderful fish markets, restaurants and upmarket shopping.

IMPORTANT: The owner of this villa is meeting new Portuguese legislation and applying for a Portuguese Touristic Licence. Thereby meeting the highest levels of health and safety in the villa. 

 

The villa is within easy distance of Tavira (regarded as the loveliest town in the Algarve), Estoi (with its Rococo palace soon to become a pousada and Roman ruins), Olhao (fishing port, markets, excellent restaurants and fine shopping), Vila Real (16th century town on the Spanish border) and much much more. Moncarapacho itself has a museum and an excellent range of small local shops, supermarkets, dentist, restaurants, pharmacy, post office, multi bank, bars, cyber cafe etc.

From Tavira, Fusetta, Olhao and Cabanas you can travel by small boat to many truly superb offshore beaches. Seville can be reached within 2 hours, Cordoba is 2 hrs further on, , Lisbon is approximately 2.5 hours away. (Travel by train to Seville for only 30 euros). The roads and motorways are excellent. Alternatively within 25 mins driving west you can access major central Algarve towns and attractions .... or you could just relax around the pool and enjoy doing absolutely nothing - as so many of our guests do !!

For those with quieter tastes the nearby Ria Formosa National Park offers excellent walks, extensive beaches and truly fantastic birdwatching.

There are some really lovely places to visit - you will not be disappointed. This is a truly unspoilt part of the Algarve. Eating out on wonderful local fish meat and wine is still surprisingly inexpensive. Why not try it for a change. THE REAL PORTUGAL !! 

Executive brand new 4 bedroom & 4 bathroom villa with its own 10m x 5m south facing heated swimming pool and terrace. The pool terrace is fully equipped with loungers, table/chairs & shading plus a large BBQ Further seating in the lower beautifully planted Portuguese style garden.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin and 1 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the villa and can be placed anywhere. This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 4 bathrooms and 4 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds.

There is room for 10 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Julia says: "The villa was beautiful, spacious and very homely, having all the bits and peices you accumulate over time which are not always deemed necessary in a standard holiday accomodation inventory. The pool was an excellent size large enough for both the oldies and the kids to be in at the same time without crowding each other, yet did not take over the whole garden and grounds. The surrounding area is, we felt (at the moment) much more unspoilt than the Western Algarve, which suited us as we were looking for a peaceful setting for us to unwind - which we did thoroughly! The local Bistro lives up to its recommendations and offers a lovely friendly atmosphere and good food at very reasonable prices, as does O Bistro in the town, which was another restaurant we tried, taking a recommendation from the welcome book. We had a triple generation group of seven in our party and would all absolutely consider a return visit and definately recommend the site to friends and family"
