A long tree-lined private driveway brings you to the spectacular original entrace gate of Chateau la Trousse. Crafted wrought iron in the ornate baroque style, the gate bears the mongram of the Money & Colchen family, conselors to the king of France. Beyond it lies the elegant outline of the chateau with its curved gray roof and stone and brick walls, guarded by a dry moat and four stone lions. Ancient chestut trees form an allee on each side, and to the right is a large and elaborate French garden, adorned with a lily pond. Behind the chateau stretches an extensive, fully maintained English landscape garden, with a Victorian conservatory, a rose garden, and a variety of trees. 

 

The chateau comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 double. The property also has 1 double bunk bed located in the in the living room. This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.
