Our new Apartment is in the unspoilt village of Salir do Porto, overlooking Sao Martinho bay, and just an hours drive from Lisbon. A new open air pool is nearing completion by the beach, from where a board walk goes along the shore to the quiet resort of Sao Martinho do Porto with its many amenities, and shallow sheltered beach. There are also walks from the village onto the headland.

The area offers many attractions with stunning scenery, vineyards and orchards all around. Within a short drive there are beaches, historic towns, and places of interest. For those more energetic there are an abundance of sporting activities including watersports and golf. The friendliness of the Portuguese and their fantastic restaurants make this a brilliant base for a holiday.

· Has central heating throughout, which although not often required allows our apartment to be an all year round destination.

· Change over day is flexible and part weeks are available where possible.

· A welcome hamper can be provided on arrival if required. A small fee will be charged for this service.

· Whilst we would recommend a hire car for your stay, we can arrange for you to be collected from and returned to the airport if required, this is payable locally.

The apartment comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 single sofa bed. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television dvd.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Review submitted by non-Villarenters customer: We had two weeks at this apartment in Salir do Porto earlier this year and it was a great choice. The acommodation is well equipped, very spacious and has a nice patio and lawned area to the rear of the apartment. There are a few bars and restaurants within walking distance which were excellent value. A few minutes drive takes you to Sao Martinho do Porto with its lovely beach and a good choice of quality restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the relaxing style of this holiday and the local people were all very friendly. A car is essential as there are so many interesting places to visit - we particularly enjoyed Foz do Arelho which had a lovely beach and great for surfing, also visits to Obidos, Alcobaca and the beach resort of Nazare are not to be missed. We can certainly recommend this high quality apartment.
