This is a very uncommon type of rental . This property sits in an 11 hectares piece of land with olive trees , pine trees. It is located in the hills above Lourmarin village and offers a stunning view over 20 kilometers looking West . The whole house is facing South . It is the most peaceful place on earth ; there is no noise whatsoever . If you wish to get away from the stressfull life and be close to nature it is obviously the place . The village is 3 kilometers away . The house is perfectly integrated into the environnement .
A car is essential to go shopping , or to visit nearby villages or towns .  

If you wish to rest; the house , the pool , the food and wine will be enough .If you wish to visit this area it is one of the most attractive in France , well known as the Luberon . Lourmarin is famous because of its Chateau , because many writers lived there , Bosco , Giono and Albert Camus . Peter Male lives in Lourmarin . Many villages such as Cucuron , Bonnieux , Lacoste , Oppede le Vieux , Ansouis are within 15 mn drive . This area is as beautiful as Toscany . If you want to see more Aix en Provence is 40 mn drive and is the most amazing . All the city was built during the 17 th Century and was a favourite place of Louis the XIV . It is also an academic city with lots of pubs and restaurants . In Lourmarin there are some very good restaurants such as La Feniere ( one of the best in the South East ) , in Cucuron La Petite Maison . There are many others such as Le Moulin , La Recre and La Louche a beurre . There is a news paper shop which has all the major daily British newspapers . There is also an Internet Cafe , very cosy , free for internet connections provided that you have your laptop and you take a drink or a homemade cake .There is also a night bar opened at 10pm with lively atmosphere until 2 am  

If you wish to play golf there is an excellent golf course called Pont Royal at Mallemort about 20 mn driving . There are two 18 holes courses.
For food , there are local shops in the village an excellent bakery for your daily baguette , a fine shop for all other foods and vegetables , a butcher , and a wine dealer . If you would rather shop in a supermarket , 5mn away from Lourmarin in Puyvert there is one called Super U , with any supply you wish to get.
There are some art galleries and craft shops in Lourmarin as well as an Antiques shop with beautiful furniture .  

The country house comprises 7 bedrooms in total; 4 double, 2 twin, 1 single, 4 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 single sofa bed located in the in the living room. This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The country house has 3 bathrooms and 6 WCs for your party's use.

The country house has television. The music system will play cds. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls. Recreational activities available with the country house include table tennis.

There is room for 9 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this country house.

Pets are welcome
There are no specific conditions except for standard good manners to avoid damaging or spoiling furnitures. Pets are not to swimm in the pool.

The country house is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area.

The country house is right beside swimming, walking.

Close to the country house you will find tennis, historic sites, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the country house you will find golf, a museum, shopping areas.
