Despite being well and truly discovered the world famous resort of St Tropez is still delightful - perfect to sit back and watch the world go by in one of the many harbourside cafés, or to check out the amazing boats or to stroll through the narrow streets full of boutiques. Apart from St Tropez the nearest villages are Cogolin – 1 km away or the historic “village perché” Grimaud – 2km away. Cogolin is a charming unspoilt village with a good range of local shops and restaurants. Also nearby are Port Grimaud and Port Cogolin which is adjacent to Port Grimaud. Famous for its’ unique architectural design and immensely popular with tourists due to its’ natural beauty and charm the whole Port area is both tranquil and elegant. Apart from Cogolin village there are other shops situated only 5 mins’ drive away at the nearby commercial centre including a “Géant” hypermarket. Most of the local villages including Port Grimaud, Cogolin, Grimaud and Ramatuelle have excellent bars and restaurants. The property is in a good central location to explore further afield – a short drive inland and there are beautiful unspoilt villages amongst pretty vineyards or a trip east along the picturesque coast road – Ste Maime, Fréjus/St Raphael or Cannes are easily accessible and further along the coast Nice and Monaco. Nearby attractions include tennis, horseriding and for children “Luna Park” - a huge funfair situated just a few minutes away from Port Cogolin and an Aqualand near Fréjus.
