The villa is inside a 500 sqm garden and protected by a high wall of 3,5 m for privacy.It's equipped with chairs,table,bbq and a hammock.The entrance to the house is a security door and leads to the living room,equipped with TV& Satelite& DVD,Sofabed for 2,Fireplace,Libary and Kitchen and Kitchentable for 8 Pers.The kitchen has all necessary kitchenware and is full equipped.First floor are 2 bedrooms,one with an extra balcony made of wood 1,10 m high sleeps 2 and 2 down.Fireplace and seperat Phone line.Bathroom is with a massage shower,bidet,wc.
The house was re-build in 2002 ,original 1500 century.

Rhodes is the principal city of the Greek island of Rhodes, in southeastern Aegean Sea and the capital of the Dodecanese prefecture. Its has a population of approximately 80,000. Rhodes has been famous since antiquity as the site of Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The citadel of Rhodes, built by the Hospitalliers, is one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe which in 1988 was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The City of Rhodes is a popular international tourist destination. 

The city of Rhodes is situated in the north-east tip of the island and forms a triangle from north to south. It is the smallest municipality of the island in terms of land area and the largest in population. It borders with the Aegean Sea in the north, the east and the west and with the municipalities of Ialysos and Kallithea in the south.The island of Rhodes is at a crossroads between Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This has given the city and the island many different identities, cultures, architectures, and languages over it long history. Its position in major sea routes has given Rhodes a very rich history. The island has been inhabitated since about 4000 BC (Neolithic Period).Both city and island population continue to grow contrary to national levels; the city has an official population of 54,000, but the actual population is estimated between 75 and 80,000. This is caused by many permanent residents of the city registering in their place of birth during the census. Thus the city's total population, as counted by the census, is less than the number of people actually residing in the city. Currently it is estimated that 80,000 people reside permanently in the city although last census showed only 54,000. This issue is criticized by the city mayors as permanent population burden the municipality with costs that can not be justified by the official numbers.The road network of the city is gradually becoming insufficient as the car fleet expands at a rate of 5,500 per year thus making both traffic and parking an increasing concern for the city officials, especially during the high-season (about 70,000 cars move from/to the center per day). The Medieval Town closes for vehicles during the summer so all the traffic gathers outside the walls and towards the modern city center which has mainly narrow and one-way streets. Finding a parking space is difficult and moreover it is under a fee. Direction signings on the streets are sufficient. From the south end of the city begins the E-95, the national road that connects the city with Lindos.

Bus Service

Bus service within the city is currently inefficient as the local municipal transport company (RODA is almost in bankruptcy. Its fleet is old and small, the routes are inconvenient and without specific timetables and finally, lack of serious management over the years undermine a probable future return in reliability and profits. Note though that during tourism season the company serves as well as possible all the main resorts and attractions contrary to winter time when services are below standard.

Taxi Service

Taxis in the city are plentiful during winter but are scarce in the summer due to high tourism. About 400 taxis serve the city and can be either found in specified taxi ranks or by phone.

Sea Service

The city hosts four harbors; the central serves national and international traffic (ferried and cruise ships), Akandia harbor is currently in construction servicing mainly cargo ships and cruise ships on busy days, Kolona serves in-prefecture traffic and private yachts and finally Mandraki harbor services daily trips around the island and small yachts. The new Marina of the island is being constructed in the Zefyros area and is expected to be operational by 2009.

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 2 double and 1 cots. The property also has 2 single sofa beds located in the Livingroom, 1 double sofa bed located in the 1 up on the wooden-balcony in one bedroom and 1 in the living room, 1 double bunk bed located in the flexible. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. A computer with Internet connection is also available for your use.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside a beach, walking, cycling, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the villa you will find swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, tennis, a sports center, scuba diving, a themepark.

ESAM says: "The villa is an absolute gem. We were so fortunte to find it. It is located inside Old Town Rhodes, in fact right across from the charming historical town wall. All sites in Old Town, inc luding beaches and shopping, are within walking distance. The newly renovated villa contains portions of the old building, circa 1500. This gives it "character". The interior is nicely furnished and very clean. It has a very charming garden with a sitting and dining area. The villa exceeded all of our expectations for a family vacation rental home. The rent was quite reasonable for a family of four as compared to hotels (hotels in Europe charge per person as opposed to per room). Above all, the property owner was most kind, generous and helpful. She offered us so many extras for no charge without being asked. There is no doubt in our mind where we will be staying the next time we visit Rhodes, hopefully soon."
