Cosy apartment in heart of Trastevere,
This cosy and quiet apartment is located in heart of Trastevere, centre of Roman nightlife and ideal place to reach in few minutes, on foot, the attractions of the Eternal City, like Campo dei Fiori and Navona Square.
The flat was fully renovated in early 2007, is at third floor of a walk-up ancient building. The windows open on a very beautiful street of this ancient Roman district. The terrace, situated just above the apartment, offers a splendid view reserved to the building inhabitants.
It is elegantly furnished and providing any kind of comfort such as air conditioning and independent heating. It can receive up to 4 people because of a double bed in the bedroom and a large sofa convertible for 2 people in the living room providing also a 4 people dining table, a cupboard and minor furnishings. Two modern sliding doors separate the living room from a fully equipped kitchen (fire cook top, fridge and freezer, traditional electric oven, kettle, etc). The bathroom has shower box, sink, bidet and toilette.

The District of Trastevere,"trans Tiberim" that means on the other side of the Tiber, is located on the right side of the Tiber, and to the south of Vatican City.
During the Imperial Period, many important people decided to build heir own houses in this district but for many centuries there was a high contrast between rich and poor houses. Today the district is an important part of the historical centre; walking through its streets you can breathe an ancient air and find curios by the artisans who still work in the same places where his father worked and before his grandfather.
Tourists are charmed by Trastevere, but their large crowd doesn’t obscure the area's personality.
Trastevere is a picturesque medieval area and is a charming place to wander, eat or relax. There are lovely lanes to explore, and it's not too difficult to step off the main routes and escape the masses. As well as the occasional touch of authentic local colour, there are plenty of businesses aimed at the large foreign population; there are countless restaurants, popular with both Romans and tourists. There are also lots of stylish bars - most are fairly new, but still atmospheric. It's a lovely area to wander in the soft dark of a Roman evening; hundreds of places and restaurants turn the lights on and the streets are full of people from every part of Rome and from all over the world.
