Zell am See is a beautiful lakeside alpine town nestling in a large sunny valley. It is only one hour from Salzburg and easily accessible by the budget airlines.

Zell is a truly all year round resort with heaps to do and see in both summer and winter. It is a friendly and family orientated ski resort with great facilities.

Our apartment is in a quiet but central part of town, only 200 metres from the ski lift, only 400 m from the lake and beaches, just 80 metres from the icerink and swimming pools and the shops and restaurants are very close. Its an ideal location.


 

Our apartment is on the third floor of a modern chalet style building. It is basically a large studio apartment but it will sleep up to 6 persons with a double sofa bed in the lounge and 4 large bunks in a sleeping area separated from the main living area by a partition.This is by no means a luxury apartment but it is very well equipped, newly decorated and furnished and is really homely, sunny and comfortable. It has a large sunny balcony containing tables and chairs with views of the ski slopes and mountain It has a living area of 40m2 plus the balcony. There is good storage in the lobby. The toilet, is separate from the bathroom, There is a well equipped kitchen and dining table seating up to 8 persons.

Storage for skis etc and washing machines etc. in basement and private parking at rear of building. It has a lift to all floors.

Ideal for small groups or families with teens or young children on a budget and represents great value for money.

There is a large indoor awimming pool, sauna etc and ice rink next door to the apartments but a fee is charged for use. Large balcony faces the mountains with afternoon sun and mountain views,

The apartment comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 twin and 1 cots. The property also has 1 double sofa bed 2 double bunk beds located in the sleeping room. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

There is a lift to all floors and no steps at basement entry level. No special facilities in apartment though. 

The apartment is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a west facing balcony, panoramic views, interesting views. If you are driving there is private parking.

The apartment is right beside a sports center, historic sites, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the apartment you will find a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, climbing, flying, walking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, skiing/snowboarding, golf, tennis, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas.

Mike says: "The property is advertised as being 1 bedroomed - it is not. There is only a curtain between the sleeping area and the rest of the apartment. Not suitable for families with young children as the parents have to sit in slience when the children have been put to bed. Great location in Zell am See which is a fantastice resort. Key arrangements worked well. "
