The Unicorn House
In former times the house was called the Unicorn House. In Front of the entrance a shield did hang with a painted unicorn. As the people couldn´t read and goods must be brought to the single warehouses they had these shields to tell them where to go.
Old City Center
The 2-Room Apartement is located in the very hard of the old town Lubeck. It is in a listed building which is about 500 year old. A small walk away all the famous points of interest can be reached, as well as restaurants and pubs. The oldtown is famous for having the most pubs on smallest area in Germany. As the old town is located on an island a wonderfull walking way is going around it.
Island Location
In Front of the street the River Trave in floating. In former time this was the busiest point of the City - The Harbour.
Today sailing and motorboots are passing to go to the holiday resort Travemünde. Quiet places, restaurant, pubs are in front of the anchoring places.

Robert says: "Lubeck is a very fine city and the property is excellently placed within the old town giving a view of the docks and within easy walking distance of all the historic sites.We drove there from the UK (2 Days stopping overnight in Aachen ) and also used Lubeck as a base for exploring Schleswig Holstein .The property gave easy access to the motorway system and the owner kindly arranged a parking place for us nearby at a cost of 5 Euros a day.In fact there are several other car parks reasonably handy for the property at the edge of the old town at a similar price .The property was perfect for two adults and whilst situated in a historic old building has been nicely modernised inside. "
