Villa Belvedere extends over and dominates the view of the whole Gulf of Castellammare. In fact, the name of the villa emphasizes the privileged position of the villa which is also benefited from its exclusive location on the hills of Mount Teleffio, the peak that overhangs Castellammare del Golfo and the green beauty of the typical Mediterranean vegetation.
This location of Villa Belvedere gives the possibility to the visitors to enjoy an unique panorama where the sight rears from one extreme point of the Gulf – Punta Raisi up to the another – San Vito and immerses in the blue color of the sea and the sky melting into one another in the horizon.
The Villa, surrounded by a very nice and accurate garden, is disposed on various levels-terraces and is accessed inside through a large living room which panoramic windows make it very luminous and give the possibility to have a spectacular sea view while the guests are relaxing or have a conversation. The furniture is very sober and linear but with elegance and style in the forms. There are four bedrooms from which 2 are with queen size bed and 2 single rooms. The sea-view can be enjoyed also from the master bedroom which is characterized from a fireplace and the panoramic windows. There are three bathrooms at disposition of the guests.
The kitchen is very functional and equipped with different household appliances and accessories, utensils and cutlery.
Outside, beside the spacious terraces and different angles where can be enjoyed pleasant moments, there is also a barbeque for dinning outdoor and having fun.

Villa Belvedere is at about 2 km from Castellammare del Golfo where is possible to do shopping and found all necessary services, app. 5km from the village of Scodello and Natural Riserve Park Zingaro, app. 40 km from the international airport of Palermo “Falcone&Borsellino”.

 

 

 

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 single. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 6 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television satellite/cable.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

andrew says: "what a treat we arived at bar Agora in castellamare as instructed which is a simple drive from palermo brindisi airport. We had to wait one hour for the owner to meet and drive us to the villa(no hasle because there are a three fantastic bars selling all manner of cakes, pastries and food) Once we had braved the italian roads (beware they drive like idiots and castellemare is extremely busy in August) and the steep drive up the moumtain we where presented with the most fantastic villa. The owner is a very friendly guy but speaks very little english however he did take a lot of time to show us round and show how everything works and he continued to visit every few days to fill up the water , pool and was always very polite and helpfull. The villa is spectacular and the views are simply stunning . We had aircon in every room which you need as the temprature was 35c at 8am in the morning rising into the 40s by the afternoon .you get 100 units of electric free and pay any excess when you leave , we paid 65 euros between six of us which we felt was fair as we used the aircon unlimited every night . the villa had every thing we needed including a proper coffee machine (expresso etc) dishwasher , washing machine , 2 large fridge freezers ,iron ,tv,sat and dvd / cd player. The villa is spread over 3 levels, with independant bedrooms kitchen and bathroom facilities on the first two levels and just a bedroom and bathroom on the 3rd level, great for 2 families or 3 sets of couples. The gardens and patios are great there are several neat terraces , the main one which overlooks the pool has a palm trees ,a hammock , childrens merrygoround , outdoor shower and several small tables and chairs, next terrace up is a fig tree (yes fresh figs while you sit in the shade) and there is also a seperate barbecue terrace with room to sit , chat and drink wine while you barbecue on a large and pretty brick barbecue area. There is a veranda from the 2nd floor bedroom with a table large enough to seat eight comfortably and with fantastic sea views. we tended to eat here at night and eat in the 2nd floor dining room during the day because there are a lot of wasps which only seem to apear during the day when there is food on display. A Five minute walk from the villa is an open air restaraunt, great food , great poeple and sea views also a van which sells hot food great chips hot rolls ,pizza and the local chick pea panelle is a must try. 5 minutes drive to a large local supermarket where you can get everything you need including a fantastic range of buffet style ready cooked food , pasta, and salads as well as everything for the bbq and the fridge/food cupboard. i do not share the view that sicily was expensive prices seemed extremely reasonable, a good 3 course meal with drinks cost about 25/30 euros per head and supermarket prices not disimilar to ours apart from being a little isolated from the main hub there is very little i can find to complain about this holiday , there is a large picnic area just below the villa which is packed with families who come to eat "al fresco" at weekends but caused no real problem and there is a hotel which has the occasional fuction which entertained us at first but then did keep us up to the early hours on just one night.Dont expect to see many english poeple or english speaking italians or expect menus , signs to give much help this is very much an italian resort. please try to visit trapeni and take the cable car up to erice (ancient town on the mountain top) its truly beautifull, also scopello which is five minutes away with its beautifull bays and beaches. chiou "
