Villa Olaf is furnished with agreeable taste, it is set in the marine zone of Ognina, few km from Fontane Bianche, few steps from the beach, the structure has also swimming pool.

Ognina is known for its particular “plate rocks”, where with difference with the other zones, the access in the sea water is much easy, and moreover you can comfortably lie down in order to take the sun. This zone is well served, since there are bars, pizzerias, and many itinerants who, during the warm season, sell foods of various kind, fruits, verdure, fresh fish... It is a residential area where are only houses for vacation; because nearby there aren’t public parking areas, bathing is made almost by the residents, therefore it is not ever too much crowded. The Villa Olaf has a beautiful garden, well cured and full of Mediterranean plants. The property has two houses, one is the Villa Olaf, the other is inhabited from the owners (4 persons in total), very kind and hospitable, but never invading; these houses share the swimming pool which is positioned as to make the division between the structures. The swimming pool has a particular almost round shape and has a up level matching the level of the house. The villa has also shadowed veranda to enjoy the meals in the open air.

 

You enter in the villa through the wide stay, here you immediately have the feeling to be in a full and really lived house, because of its ornaments, the decorations, the furnishing a lot searched, that usually distinguish this house from the houses for vacations characterized from the essentiality. From this area you get the dining kitchen, well equipped, from the other side crossing a short corridor you get the night zone, composed by 3 bedrooms, one of these is double, the others 2 are double (upon request one of these can become another double). The bathrooms are 2, one of this have a particular shower with hydro massage, the other bathroom has the bathtub. Among the services: 3 air conditioning systems, the barbecue, the TV...  

 

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a toaster. You will also find a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, glassware.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

Pets are welcome
The owners have 2 nice dogs already, so it wouldn't be a problem if the guests bring another pet (just one), but awaring in advance 

Not suitable for wheelchairs 

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private swimming pool, access to a shared swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, scuba diving, a food shop.

Close to the villa you will find horse riding, golf, tennis, historic sites, a museum, shopping areas, a restaurant.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find climbing.

Liz says: "We booked this property on the basis of its position and the facilities available. We were delighted that the pool was a good size and to discover how close the villa is to the sea - literally across the road. So the position is excellent. Also the owner is obliging, although unfortunately does not speak any English so it was hard to discuss any problems with her. An unexpected benefit was an old pool table in the villa - not level, but adequate for the children to play on. However, the villa itself felt as if it needed a little money spent on it. There were quite a few things which were sub-standard or broken (for example, one of the exterior doors will not lock, one of the a/c units dripped water constantly, the shower head could only be used in one position or it would flop down, the shower doors were grubby and had to be used with care because one had come off its fitting, no plug in 2 of the sinks, the loo seat wobbled disconcertingly because it was not fitted properly, parts of the villa not very clean etc) Other problems were that the washing machine, dryer, iron etc listed in the facilities did not exist, nor did the kettle (less surprising) or toaster (would have been handy - we couldnt get the grill hot enough to toast bread). The kitchen equipment is limited: only 6 plates, no chopping board, no peeler, no colander (how to drain pasta?!), a very motley collection of saucepans. The towels provided were rather thin and very small. There is no hanging space in the main bedroom even though there is plenty of room. Also the 3rd bedroom, which does not have air con, gets really hot and so was uncomfortable to sleep in. And the tables both indoors and outdoors have only 4 chairs - odd for a villa which sleeps 6. We also felt that a final clean price of E60 was a bit steep - we pay less than that in London for a 4 bed house. Overall, wonderful position and this could be a great villa with some money spent on it."
