These cabins are resonably priced and are ideal for a relaxing weekend get away or as a base for a longer stay.
These cabins are ideal for nature lovers with woodlands all around you. Take your time rambling through Norway's natural treasures, the countryside is simply breathtakingly beautiful. There are very pleasant walks from the cabin. For the children, there is a small play area with badminton court, swing and sandpit. Each cabin is equipped for 6 people. There is 240v power supply and inside toilets with shower. There is an open fire and fire wood and electricity are included in the price.
There are up to 100 km of prepared tracks, divided into routes of 2, 3, 5, 7, 15 and 32 km, all in varied and wonderful winter terrain. The easy tracks are at Langmyr to the west of the hotel. For the more skilled cross-country skiers we recommend the 15-km route north of the main road, which takes you past “Himmelrike”, via the lakes of Fisketjønn and Rosstjønn to Langmyr and back to the hotel/alpine centre.
If you follow this route anti-clockwise you will climb the steepest hills at the beginning and you’ll be rewarded with some great downhill slopes at the end of your trip. At the top of the alpine slopes you will find a pleasant 7-km long cross-country track, a roundtrip through an amazing winter landscape. Take the chair lift to the top and enjoy the downhill slopes on the way back.
Thrilling sledge rides . If you’ve been down the slopes on skis and snowboard and you’re looking for another adrenaline kick then hire a sledge and head for our 1,200 metre long sledging hill.
Fishing
The lake and surrounding rivers offer plenty of opportunities for trout perch and salmon fishing. If you fancy sonmething a bit bigger, you can the sea and fjord is about a 45 minutes drive from the cabin. During the winter ice fishing on the lake is possible for a real Norwegian experience!

Walking and Hiking
You will be spoilt for walking and hiking trails in the surrounding mountains, many of which are marked.
In season berry and mushroom picking is a Norwegian national pastime, with cranberries and blue berries in abundance.
There are lots of local musems and craft centres, including the "hunting museum", Rjukan waterfalls, Farm tours, and the Hydro electric power station at Åmli.
All in all these Cabins are the perfect destination for a relaxing family holiday at a resonable price.
