Rhodes Island is the largest of the Dodecanese Islands. The Italians would later demolish the houses that were built on and around the city walls during the Ottoman era. They also turned the Jewish and Ottoman cemeteries into a green zone surrounding the Medieval Town.The Italians preserved what was left from the Knights' period, and destroyed all Ottoman buildings. They also reconstructed the Grand Master's Palace. The house comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 single and 1 cots. The property also has 2 single sofa beds located in the small room(Storage) next to the roof terrace, 1 double sofa bed located in the in the masterbedroom, 1 double bunk bed located in the Bedroom (first Floor). This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 1 bathrooms for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the house cool.

The house has television satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 7 in the living room and 7 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The house is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a summer house, a north facing patio area, a north facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking.

Close to the house you will find a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, tennis, a sports center, scuba diving, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas.

Alex says: "My wife and I stayed here for a week in April and had a fantastic time. The location is superb - in the least touristy part of the beautiful Old Town - and the house is only a five minute walk from bars and restaurants. There's also a useful mini-market 100m away. It's very close to the supermarkets, cinemas and bars to the south of the city walls. The house itself is very pleasant - more like someone's home than a holiday let. It's spread out over three floors and is quite simple (though comfortable and with everything you need). Having the outside space of the roof terrace (despite the somewhat precarious stairs!) was great. The owner, Claudia, is extremely accommodating, meeting us at the airport and arranging a cheap hire car. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend this place for a relaxing break in what must be one of the most fascinating towns in Europe. "
