My parents chose this area because it is very well located. The basque country has an interesting climate. It is rarely cold because it is next to the atlantic ocean and surrounded by mountains. Nature is just beautiful. Whatever you enjoy, you'll find it there. Colours and light are amazing. You are one hour away from ski resorts, 10 min away from the beach (good surfing and kite surfing), 30 min away from spain (san sebastian). The basque culture is very strong. You will find plenty of small historic villages to visit. Food is very important there and you'll find lots of small typical food markets and places to shop good products. 

The house is located in a campound surrounding a beautiful gulf course (18 holes). The whole property stands on 1000 m2. The house was built by an architect 7 years ago so it is modern and traditional at the same time. This house was not meant to be rented so it has all the facilities you'd expect to find in your own place. Materials are very high standard. It is very comfortable, easy to use and easy to feel at home. All the beds are new and very good quality. There is a huge living room which faces the garden. The light is very intense. The kitchen is next to the living room so you never feel alone while cooking. It is also possible to eat in the kitchen.
One room has a bathroom next to it with a hammam and is situated on the ground floor.
Then, there are 4 bedrooms at the top floor: 2 facing the garden, one on the other side of the house and a space for kids with 3 beds. 

One one side, there is a big terrace where you can have barbecues. You can use stores if it's too hot. The garden is next to the terrace and spreads to the gulf course. There are small fences on each side which make it safe for children or pets as you can always have an eye on them. There is a small house for kids where they can play. They can cycle in the campound as the area is very quiet and safe. `
on the other side, there is a place where you can park 3 to 4 cars.

The villa comprises 5 bedrooms in total; 4 double, 1 twin and 2 cots. . This gives room for up to 12 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 4 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television video, dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a west facing garden, a west facing patio area, a west facing balcony, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, horse riding, tennis, a sports center, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.
