This lovely holiday house faces south in beautiful, natural surroundings and has a fantastic view of the fjord. The area is perfect for cycling, fishing, riding and hiking with many interesting sites to visit. Boats, sea kayaks and bicycles are available to rent nearby. This is a quiet, peaceful place.

Folgefona - a high standard cabin designed by an architect, build in 1997 and renovated in 2004. The exterior consists of rough wooden panel and grass on the roof (peat) and large slates from Hardanger. It has been built in traditional style and in harmony with the beautiful natural surroundings. The cabin is handicapped friendly and has adjacent parking space for several cars.

All rooms except bedrooms have heated floors and there is satellite TV with norwegian and foreign channels.

Outside there is a patio area with great views over the fjord, a walkway to the boat and many options for activities. Your host has bikes for rent. The cabin lies in a quiet area with many wild animals (deer, roe deer, birds of prey and forest walks)ACCOMMODATION: 90 sq.m living area. Four bedrooms, four single beds and two double (one easily made into two single beds). The rooms with single beds have chest of drawers while the double bedded rooms have a wardrobe. There is a well equipped kitchen with service set for 12 people, an open area with a nook with eating place for four people. The dining table seats 10 people. Two sofa sets and 2 "stress-less" chairs. Good standard bathroom with shower. Cloth drying possibilities. Wireless network for internet.

The fjord is Skånevikfjorden, here you can catch most of the common species, including large ling and tusk on the deep waters. Other possibilities are salmon, sea trout and trout in small rivers and lakes in the region. The host can give good advise about the fishing.
 

Many sights near by, including riverfalls, glaciers, museums and more. Activities include hiking on marked trails from the cabin, guided glacier and mountain hiking, horseback riding, biking on marked trails, a nine-hole golf course (green card required) and canoe.
 

This house is on one floor (90 sq.m.) with electrical underfloor heating. Four bedrooms with six beds, including two double beds. Bathroom with shower, one toilet. Dining table for ten, electric cooker, microwave, coffee maker, dish washer and a fridge. Washing machine, tumble dryer and vacuum cleaner at house. Living room with seating for ten people, TV with satelite and a wood-burning stove.

Outdoor facilities include furniture with seating for eight people and a grill.
