in one of the Algarve's few remaining traditional fishing villages, Ferragudo.

Set on an attractive modern complex in Ferragudo, one of the Algarve's last
uncommercialised fishing villages, which is situated across the estuary
from Portimão, Western Algarve.
Ferragudo is a 40 min drive from Faro Airport.
The property is located on a new development
about 5 mins walk from the centre of Ferragudo and has been newly
furnished throughout.
There are great beaches in the area; two small 'cove'
type beaches within a few minutes drive and the large Praia Grande beach, which
is within walking distance.
Golf enthusiasts will find many Golf Clubs
within easy reach including Penina Championship Course, which is a 15
minute drive. The two Pestana golf courses, Pinta and Gramacho, are only a
5 min drive away.
Other facilities close by include Carvoeiro Tennis
Club, Splash & Slide - the largest water park in the Algarve - and Zoomarine.
There are some great restaurants in Ferragudo and others in the new
Marina at Portimão can be reached by river taxi or by road.
The apartment has four bedrooms and so would be great for the extended family who want to travel together at an affordable price.
With a communal pool, air conditioning, barbecue, fully equipped kitchen and many restaurants and bars on your doorstep it has everything you need for the perfect family holiday.
Linen and bathroom towels are provided. Linen is changed weekly and towels are changed half way through your weekly stay. If you are staying for two or more weeks the house will be cleaned at the end of each week.

Its proximity to the larger resorts of Portimao, Praia de Rocha, Lagos, Carvoeiro and historic Silves makes it the ideal centre for the family. There are great beaches nearby including the large Praia Grande which is a 10 min walk away. There are great restaurants in the harbour and across the estuary in Portimao.

What made us fall in love with this property
We love the unspoilt character of the village and because the property is situated in a very quiet complex but is within easy walking distance of the harbour which is well served with great restaurants and bars.

The apartment is newly built and furnished and designed to be home from home. It has the benefit of airconditioning. There is a maid service twice per week when all towels are changed, the bed linen is changed every week.

I did receive the deposit cheque back, thank you. As usual, after a holiday, we are back into the normal mad rush of things.
We had a lovely holiday and your apartment was home from home. The only thing we felt was missing was a filter coffee machine, so we bought one and left it for you!
