Borgo Molinaccio is set in a panoramic spot, ideal for those looking for peace and tranquillity, yet within 14 kilometers from the centre of Florence. It consists of several beautiful apartments obtained from the careful restoration of the farm buildings and annexes belonging to a 17th Century Villa built and still occupied by an ancient noble Roman family. The Villa has 4 double rooms which are also rented to tourists.
The apartments are surrounded by 20 hectares fields and woodlands, immersed in nature.

Florence offers all shops and facilities and can be easily reached both by bus and by car. Access to the apartments is by 0.8 km of white road that leads directly to the private parking area. 

The Villa is located within a beautiful hamlet and it offers a round 6.5 meter swimming pool at the margin of its formal garden that guests can use daily.

There is a large furnished terrace and furnished lawns in front of the apartment La Limonaia.

The apartment offers TV with satellite dish with English Television and independent central gas heating. Gas is payable on consumption during heating season. Beautifully furnished with several important antique pieces, La Limonaia has its own private entrance through a large patio which is shared with the next door neighbour .

Whitewashed walls and woodbeamed ceilings are present and along with the terracotta floors make La Limonaia a typical Tuscan apartment, whith much more to offer!

There is a very romantic mezzanine with wooden floors, which is where the double
bed is located.

Access is from a spacious terrace which is in common with the Italian Family next door.

Up three steps from the landing is the private entrance to the apartment. The door opens into the kitchen which is complete with gas range, fitted electric oven and small fridge. Marble table and chairs. Next to the kitchen is the living room with a double sofa bed. Down one very small step from the dining room is a hall- a room which is used as "dressing room" and is the passage to the bathroom and the double bedroom, which is open and is reached through several steps. The complete bathroom with hang shower, large bath tub and washing machine.

The vicinity with Florence is really exceptional, being Borgo Molinaccio located in a very peaceful corner of the Chianti. The apartment is a real jem and you will find the owners very welcoming as well as everyone living in the hamlet (Borgo) You have use of the swimming pool, which is about 50 meters distance, on a hill with pretty views. I Limoni has a pretty terrace, which is ideal for dining "al fresco" and sip a glass of wine under the starred sky of Tuscany!

The apartment comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Futon bed. This gives room for up to 2 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. A computer with Internet connection is also available for your use. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this apartment.

I meant to write to right after our holiday, but got very busy with relatives in town.

I wanted to thank you for your recommendation, we had a great time and everything worked out very well for us. The rooms were very comfortable, Betti was most friendly and so were the dogs :) In fact, the only "problem" was that our twins would have wanted to stay at Betti's to play with the dogs rather than go out sightseeing! Also, the Easter lunch was excellent, we had the best lamb we've had in ages.

I am sure we will be back in Tuscany, and I will
contact you for more recommendations. If you talk to
