We have been to Florida many times and stayed in many places over the years, getting a clear idea of what elements make a good holiday home.

In Orlando the location is key, and finding a villa with a combination of a nice, quiet, picturesque community, but which has easy access to all the major attractions is vitally important if your holiday is to be relaxing, and not full of long car journeys.

We always enjoyed staying in a fully equipped Villa - especially one with a private pool and spa, to relax in after a hard day at the theme parks, or the shopping malls, and made sure to pick a villa that is furnished to a high standard and will give everyone who stays there a comfortable and relaxing holiday

What we really liked about this villa was the floorplan. The villa is split into two main sleeping areas either side of the main kitchen and living space. Keeping two bedrooms either side of the main area has the advantage that two familes of four can stay at the villa, and maintain a degree of privacy. At one side there is a double room and twin with a family bathroom, and at the other side of the house there is a double room with ensuite and another twin room.

There is a private pool with spa, backing onto woodland for added privacy. Cable tv and wi-fi internet access with free US local calls, in case you fancy ordering in.

Bridgewater Crossing is an upmarket area with a mixture of private luxury villas, a few of which are available as holiday homes. The community has a strong homeowners association that ensures the area is kept clean and beautifully maintained.

The houses are set in 165 acres of unspoiled Florida Wetland, there is a large lake as well as Tennis courts and a basketball court. In addition to the private pool and spa at our villa there is also a larger community pool nearby. 

Bridgewater Crossing is just a few minutes from exit 58 on I4, the main road through the centre of Orlando. All the theme parks, shopping malls and restaurant areas can be easily accessed from this road. Disney is about 10 minutes from the Great Orlando Villa and a further 5-15 minutes is all that it takes to get to International Drive, Sea World, Universal studios, wet and wild, Kissimmee, all the restaurants areas and the largest shopping malls.

Orlando is criss-crossed with major roads and within an hour you can get to both coasts, for Tampa and Busch Gardens in the west and Cocoa beach in the east. Just down the coast is Daytona beach and the Kennedy Space centre 

Whether you are after a hectic family holiday with lots of theme parks and shopping, or a quieter relaxing trip, with maybe a little golf or siteseeing, you will love staying at the Great Orlando Villa. Bridgewater Crossing is a fantastic upmarket community set in 165 acres of unspoilt fFlorida Wetlands, it is just a few minutes from the shopping centre at Champions Gate with a large Publix supermarket, stocking many Domestic and Imported Uk Brands.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 7 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

All bedroom and facilities are on one floor and there are no steps, however the house is a standard family home and does not have specially widened doorways or other specially adapted equipment fitted for disabled visitors, please ask for more details. 

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private swimming pool, access to a shared swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, interesting views, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, tennis.

Close to the villa you will find golf, a sports center, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a themepark, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find a beach, fishing, a zoo.

Orlando has most sporting pursuits fully catered for, or available a short drive away.
