Playamar is a brand new development across the road from the beach, on an elevated site with stunning sea and mountain views. It is equipped with lifts, air conditioning, swimming pool and each apartment has an indoor parking space.

This well equipped apartment, with digital TV and hot & cold air conditioning is furnished to a high standard with all modern conveniences.

The complex has its own communal swimming pool and the apartment is located on the 4th floor. The apartment has a south-west facing balcony / terrace which receives sun from afternoon until sunset.
 

Fuengirola is at the heart of Costa del Sol.

The apartment is located close to the Moorish Castle on teh South side of the town. The new Miramar shopping and cinema complex is less than a 10 minute walk from the apartment. This complex contains a large number of well known band shops, restaurants and a very large supermarket for all of your shopping needs.

The long sandy beach for which this part of the Costa del Sol is rightly famous is also less than 10 minute walk from the apartment complex. The cnetre of Fuengirola town and the famous 'Fish Alley' containing numerous bars and restaurants is a pleasant 20 minute walk from the apartment along the Paseo Maritimo prominade.

The Costa del Sol is often referred to as the Costa del Golf as there are many golf courses within a 15 minute drive of the apartment.

Also within easy reach are two water parks.

Whilst having a car during your stay may be useful it is certainly not essential as there is an excellent train service at the Airport (no taxi necessary) to the centre of Fuengirola which takes less than half an hour. From the central station in Fuengirola the apartment is less than a 10 minute taxi rise away.

The apartment serves as an ideal centre for touring, with a train service into Malaga or take the bus to Gibraltar, Marbella or Mijas

Fuengirola has five miles of wonderful well cared for beaches, bordered by a magnificent Paseo Maritimo Promenade for that leisurely evening stroll.

It has a very popular street market in the local Fairground every Tuesday. There is an aquatic park within 15 minutes walk from the apartment.

The Municipal Zoo is the only one on the Andulasion coast. There are numerous Golf courses nearby.

Skiing can be enjoyed on Sierra Nevada (a couple of hours drive) from December to April.
 

 

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Living Area. This gives room for up to 5 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The apartment has television.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Alison says: "As a family of 4 we needed to have a well-equipped and spacious apartment and this apartment exceeded our expectations - I have to say that the photographs do not do it justice! The location is fine without a car but I would agree with a previous reviewer that it can be a bit far for little legs (3 year old) to walk in order to get into the centre of Fuengirola. This is easily overcome by frequent stops to have a cool drink! We made good use of the pool at the apartment complex, which was quiet and very clean. The beaches that we went to were over the bridge, over the river, again they were very clean and about 10 minutes away. The location is very good as you are at the quieter end of the resort, but within easy reach of any other activity you could choose. We took the bus from outside the Miramar complex (10 minutes walk, with children) into the centre - 5 minutes. Taxis back to the apartment were about 7 euros (in the evening). Would thoroughly recommend the zoo and the park next to the Town hall for children. We ate out every day and had a good range of options to choose from. The seafood on offer from the beachside restaurants near the apartment was fabulous. The streets just behind the main drag have lots of lovely tapas bars and Spanish cuisine on offer. The Miramar complex has every shop you could need and is very accessible. All in all the apartment and the resort were very good and we will definitely consider returning."
