The town of Gocek is considered to be exclusive and is favoured mostly by yachting people.The main beauty of Gocek is that it is unspoilt with beautiful views of the mountains and sea. There are excellent sailing opportunities and the surrounding area has many archaeological sites that are open to tourists. The pine forests surrounding Gocek are environmentally protected, providing a beautiful natural setting. Villa Ruya is situated at the edge of the forest and enjoys the benefit of a countryside setting with stunning views of the mountains, but still being within a 10 minute walk from Gocek town centre.

 

The Villa is tastefully furnished with 'antique' furniture but with all the comforts of home. On arrival guests will find a welcome pack to start the holiday with breakfast provisions for the first morning.
The design of the villa enables the house to stay cool in the hot summer and also for heat to rise from the fire in winter time. This is due to the high ceiling in the lounge, created by the 'Gothic' stone work towers. The large stone fireplace , cast iron chandeliers, open first floor gallery overlooking the lounge, all contribute to the impression of living in a mini castle but with all the advantages of modern living with air conditioning and central heating.

The first floor master double bedroom has panoramic mountain views and also a view of the sea and Gocek bay. It has a private balcony and the furniture is in keeping with the character of the villa.

There is a further smaller double bedroom and a single bedroom. The single bedroom is more modern in its furniture design. Both rooms have superb views. The first floor bath room has a jacuzzi bath, WC and shower.

The top floor is a family room with a kingsize, black cast-iron bed and two single beds. There is also an ensuite WC and shower room and a private balcony. This room has superb panoramic views of Gocek marina and mountains.

In addition. there are two fold up beds which can be used if 10 people occupy the villa. These would be suitable for children and can be placed anywhere in the villa. 

You can quite easily enjoy a 2 week holiday without having to hire a car. 150m from Villa Ruya you can catch the road-train to Inlice Plaja, Gocek's unspoilt beach. This service runs 3 times a day and is very cheap. The beach has a cafe, a restaurant nearby, showers and sun chairs. You can also catch the 'Dolmus' minibus which stops 150m from the villa. This takes you into the town of fethyie and runs every half hour in the mornings and every hour in the afternoons and evening.
One of the main pleasures of Gocek are the many turkish restaurants along the pedestrianised waterfront, where you can sit outside and enjoy the sunset over the mountains that surround Gocek bay. The town comes to life in the evenings with all the quaint little shops open and various cafes and jazz bars.
Many guests enjoy coming to Gocek to explore the 12 islands off Gocek bay, go sailing or scuba diving. Oludeniz is only 50mins drive away and offers para sailing and other more adventurous water sports.
45 mins away is Dalyan. Here you can go on a boat trip and experience the hot water springs, the mud baths and also visit the ancient Roman city of kaunos. Included in the boat trip is also a visit to the turtle beach, which is protected due to turtles laying their eggs there. However, it is still a great beach for swimming and there is not a resort in sight!

 

The villa has stunning views of the mountains and is located in a pine forest setting. The villa is a semi detached character property in the design of a mini castle with its stone fireplace, chandeliers and tower containing a spiral wooden staircase.The furniture reflects the style of the villa and has been tastefully decorated. The other side is privately owned and not let and is only occupied for 1 - 2 weeks a year in the off season by the couple who own it. The villa is not on a complex and not overlooked by other villas. It has extremely spacious living accomodation all with panoramic views. The outside dining area overlooks the mountains and poolside. The pool area can be closed off if children are playing in garden. The villa is within a 7 min walk from Gocek town centre and the nearest shop is 250m, where you can also catch the dolmus to the beach and to Fethiye.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 1 single and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 2 single sofa beds located in the stored in basement but can be placed anywhere. This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private north facing swimming pool, a north facing garden, a north facing patio area, a north facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, cycling.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, boat hire, fishing, mountain biking, a sports center, scuba diving, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find water skiing, wind surfing, horse riding, historic sites, a museum.

Para sailing, water skiing in Oludeniz. Gocek has many delightful restaurants on the marina front.
