Sol de Almoradi Apartments
The Sol de Almoradi is an apartment block built on the edge of Almoradi, which is within a 5 minute walk to all amenities, but also enjoys the magnificent views of the Veja Baja valley and mountains.
There are two entrances to the apartment block, each with a security intercom system to keep out intruders. Next to each door there is a lift which services all levels, making it much quicker and easier to get to the apartment on arrival with heavy suitcases! Each entrance hall has been finished with solid marble floors, and contains lights on a timer so you can find your way even after a late night!
The apartment block has a private, residents only pool which is beautifully maintained, as well as a terrace area for sunbathing. Many of the full time residents at the complex are English, which provides a friendly environment, with lots of help at hand should there be a problem.
Sol de Almoradi apartments are within a 2 minute walk of three big supermarkets Aldi, Supermarche and Dia, and a 5 minute walk to the main town square where shops, restaurants and typically Spanish bars can be found.
Despite healthy development over the past couple of years, with a number of small restaurants and bars opening, the area is not over-commercialised like many of the coastal areas of the Costa Blanca, although these are still within easy reach. 
Apartment for rent
The apartment available for rent is a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment on the first floor. There is one large double bedroom with fitted wardrobe, bedside tables and bedside lamps, which is the first room on the left after entering the apartment. Next on the left is the bathroom, with bath with shower fitted, bidet, toilet and sink. There is also a vanity area above the sink with spotlights and mirror.
Continuing forward brings you to the open plan kitchen/dining area/lounge. The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, juicer, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. All cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery are also provided so the apartment is ready for use on arrival. Finishing touches such as cloths, washing up liquid and tea towels are also provided for your convenience!
Leading off from the kitchen area there is small outdoor utility area containing outside sink idea for soaking swimming garments or washing sand away! This area contains ironing board to use with the iron which can be found in the kitchen area. The dining area contains a round, extending table and four chairs, and table cloth, placemats, coasters, fruit bowl and condiments are provided.
The lounge comprises of a sofa, television fitted with sky television, glass topped coffee table, and air-conditioning system providing hot or cold air, as well as a radio/cassette/CD player. Leading off the lounge area is the second bedroom consisting of two single beds and bedside table and lamp, as well as clothes rail.
From the lounge, through sliding glass doors, there is access to the balcony, which features a plastic table and four chairs, two collapsible sun loungers (which may be taken down to the pool) and clothes airer. From the balcony there are views over the Veja Baja valley and mountains, offering the perfect place to enjoy a meal while watching the magnificent sunset.  
Almoradi
The town of Almoradi is located on the northern side of the Segura River, on the southern Costa Blanca, and is approximately 15 minutes drive from the coastal towns of Guardamar and 25 minutes from Torrevieja. Both can be reached using the bus for less than 3 euros return, and both offer beautiful beaches. With a population of 13,000 this is a well established community, and as a result there are a good selection of shops, restaurants & other facilities in place in addition to government managed amenities such as schools, doctors etc. The town centres around a large tree lined town square featuring the beautiful church, which is lively throughout the day and night. There are a number of eateries around this, many of them typically Spanish, but also including an ice cream parlour and small bars. Almoradi is also renowned for its large market every Saturday morning, offering clothes, shoes, vegetables, meat, souvenirs, bags and much more!
In recent times there has been increased interest in the town. This has mainly come from residential tourists who are attracted by the relatively low prices (for the region), or ex-pats looking for a taste of real Spain. It has to be said Almoradi does offer something a little different from that of many of coastal towns it is quieter, & has retained much of its inherent culture & tradition. There are many fiestas (festivals) throughout Almoradis calendar, some of which are a real spectacle & well worth a look. The cuisine is another major bonus though made up of mainly traditional Spanish fare although international tastes are also catered for. Within a 5 minute walk of the apartment there is a pizza joint and a wonderful Chinese restaurant, as well as an English owned cafe. Due to the increasing development of the town, new places to eat are constantly opening.
Sporting enthusiasts are also well catered for here, with the town boasting a good municipal swimming pool & other facilities. Almoradi is no more than a 20 minute drive from a good selection of golf courses with La Finca & la Marquesa clubs significantly closer. Almoradi is also well known for its mild climate & the entire region enjoys sunshine for in excess of 320 days per year. The sun is at its hottest during the summer months, with temperatures rarely falling below 30°C (86°F). Winters are typically very mild with averages hovering around 18°C (64°F).
Almoradi offers the combination of a quiet, typically Spanish location but which is within easy reach of the busier, more commercialised areas of Guardamar, Torrevieja and Alicante, as well as numerous golf clubs, beaches and activities. Although it would be recommended to have a car for ease of travel, it is not a necessity, as the public transport is cheap and easy, and travels to all of the above mentioned areas.

Linen/Clean fee. After every stay, however long, we must pay a cleaner to clean the apartment and change all linen. Therefore all parties must incur a small fee for this. This can either be paid locally at 50 euros per stay, or can be paid as part of the booking for £40 (based on the current conversion rate Sept 08 - please contact us if you feel this needs to be updated in Sterling). As the setting is set to pay locally, if you wish to pay at the time of booking, please contact us. If this is not paid before depature, it will be taken from the security deposit.
