The property is a "duplex" with its own garden area, balcony and roof top solarium. La Herrada is an urbanisation within walking distance of the small town of Los Montesinos, with its traditional Spanish square, local restaurants and small bars.

The community pool is well maintained and can be seen from the property. There are also some spectacular views from the rooftop into the surrounding hills and mountains. The nearest Golf course is La Finca (2km). There are also several other golf courses within half an hours drive. 

The urbanisation is on the outskirts of Los Montesinos and a 20 mintues walk from the property will take you into the town square. A pleasant evenings walk and no need to worry about that extra glass of vino.

A car is recommended to take full advantage of all the sights and attractions, although there are some taxis and airport pick-ups available.

The beach of Guardamar (10km long and backed by a pine forest), is less than 10 minutes drive. See link for further information.

There are also many other beaches a short drive away with a range of facilities, and attractions. Or if you prefer you can chose a more quiet and secluded beach .

There are two Aquaparks and go-karting track in the area (20 mins). Southern Costa Blanca is very well served for night life, bars and restaurants.

Towns of Elche, Santa Pola, and Orihella are steeped in history and have many historical buildings, museums and visitor attractions.

La Herrada is ideally located for Golf, with 5 top class courses within 30 minutes drive.
 

For those who would like to cater for themselves there is a supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away. In town there are number of shops including a small supermarket, panaderia, pharmacy and Post office

There are a few bars and a resturant a few minutes walk away. A bit further away the Los Montesinos town has a selection of resturants to suit all budgets and tastes. There is also a range of small bars, from tapas bars to more lively music bars. 

There is a double sofa bed, which can be made available if separate rooms for sleeping are required. eg Golf parties that do not want to share the double bed. Please note that the accommdation is equipped to accomodate 6 people. There is a digital safe and a childs high chair is also available There is also a roof top solarium.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin and 1 cots. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the Lounge. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared selec t aspect swimming pool, a south facing garden, a west facing patio area, a west facing balcony, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming, walking, a restaurant.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, cycling, horse riding, golf, a sports center, scuba diving, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a themepark, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find climbing, mountain biking, tennis, historic sites, a museum, a zoo.

Large water park, 15 min drive. Around a dozen resturants located within the village

The villa was close to the small town of Los Montesinos and within walking distance of the local super market and watering hole. Torrevieja was a 10 min drive away with lots of shops and eateries. The beaches were excellent with lovely clean, clear blue water. A car is essential if you want to enjoy the area to the full. We would highly recommend this property. "
