Guests are invited to experience a dream holiday in our stunning new 3 bedroomed home located in the deed restricted community of Rotonda West on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Our home offers all you need for an utterly relaxing holiday. The villa is light and spacious, beautifully furnished and equipped, air-conditioned, with cathedral ceilings, poolside bedrooms, spacious well-equipped kitchen and ceramic-tiled bathrooms, overlooks a secluded canal. Swim in the electrically heated pool, relax on the fully furnished lanai, stroll on one of the many beaches, dine in one of the many local restaurants, shop in Port Charlotte, Englewood or Sarasota, sail along a quiet creek or fish as the sun sets.

Fully air-conditioned, our house boasts a king-size double master bedroom, en-suite bathroom with a huge walk-in shower with his-and-hers wash basins. Patio doors lead onto the poolside, for your morning coffee, whilst you watch the local wildlife. Bedroom two has a queen-size double and Patio doors onto the poolside, and bedroom three is a twin room. Both rooms have large walk-in wardrobes, and there is a further quest bathroom and shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a quality hob, microwave, large refrigerator with icemaker, and dishwasher. A separate utility area houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.

 

Rotonda is one of the small, delightful communities located on the Cape Haze Peninsula in Charlotte County in the south Gulf Coast of Florida.
This is a tranquil area of unspoiled natural beauty and a rich history. Cape Haze Peninsula is approximately 100 miles south of Tampa, between the cities of Sarasota and Punta Gorda. It rests on the waters of the Myakka River and Lemon Bay.
Known for its diversity, the peninsula is not incorporated, and includes the other unique communities of El JoBean, Cape Haze and Englewood. Together these communities make up one of the fastest growing areas of the state, each with its own distinct flavor. Beautiful white sand beaches provide sunbathing, swimming and beachcombing. Hiking, biking, boating, fishing and other watersports are available in Rotonda, and golf and tennis are nearby.
You can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, searching for seashells or do nothing except enjoy the exotic sunset over the Gulf of Mexico.
When you visit Rotonda, you discover a part of Florida that is off the beaten path - unhurried, unspoiled and uncrowded. This region is often called the gem of the Suncoast and when you visit Rotonda on Cape Haze Peninsula, you will discover the reason  

Shopping

There is excellent shopping in Englewood, and you are sure to find everything you need locally. For food, the Winn Dixie supermarket is only minutes away and open until very late at night and 24 hours at certain periods of the year. They have a vast range of food and wine and a deliciously inviting delicatessen. There is a superb fish counter..........and you can have your lobster steamed, ready to eat! They also have a Pharmacy and Bank facilities.

Port Charlotte has a new shopping mall, the Port Charlotte Town Centre. Many a satisfying afternoon can be whiled away in here should your Bank balance allow it! The most renowned of Sarasota’s shopping areas is St. Armands Circle, an island of exquisite boutiques, restaurants and galleries. This park-like circle is home to over 100 shops and restaurants, which, it has to be said, are generally pricey (observe Sarasota’s seriously wealthy pull up in their chauffeur driven limos!) however, it is wonderfully atmospheric in the early evening to wander around and can be combined with a trip to Siesta Key’s white talcum-powder sand beach.

At nearby Punta Gorda, the unique Fisherman’s Village is built over the Peace River and may be reached by water as well as road. From here boat trips to various barrier islands can be arranged or evening sunset cruises.

Restaurants

If, like us, you love dining out, you will have come to the right place. Renowned for fresh local caught seafood, there is a vast choice of places to eat. Every kind of cuisine is catered for from Continental to Japanese. Many restaurants are at the water’s edge, portions are huge and, importantly, inexpensive, so that eating out really is a pleasure!
Make sure you take the short boat trip to Palm Island Resort Restaurant one evening. Palm Island is a private community with a lovely beach – which us ordinary mortals are not allowed to use!

Attractions

When you tire of sitting by our private screened-in pool, there are boundless places of interest to visit including attractions, museums and cultural opportunities. Apart from the beaches, the boat-trips to islands and the wonderful shopping, the region abounds with State Parks where this wonderful sub-tropical Eco-system is being preserved. These parks usually incorporate nature trails, boat tours, canoe rentals, and those on island have, of course, mile upon mile of sandy beaches with great shelling. The wildlife to be enjoyed includes pelicans, egrets, pretty scarlet cardinals, red-cockaded woodpeckers, raccoons, bobcats, alligators, manatees, bald eagles, and the now sadly rare Florida black bears and panthers (though we don’t see many of these last two in our back yard!)

For the more active holidaymaker, Englewood is just 80 miles south of Tampa where you can visit Bush Gardens and water parks, or you could go further a field to Orlando - home of the great family fun parks including Disney, Epcot, MGM studios, Universal Studios, Sea World and much more.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private west facing swimming pool, a west facing garden, a west facing patio area, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, golf, tennis, a sports center, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.
