The apartment is newly furnished to high standard. There is a balcony from each of the bedrooms and a main balcony from the lounge, with outdoor furniture. All of the windows have insect screens - so the windows can be left open to let in fresh air. There is also air-conditioning in both bedrooms and in the longe/dining room if the windows are to be left closed. The air-conditioning units can be used as heating in cold weather. There are sea views from both the lounge and Bedroom 1.

The apartment buildings are three storeys high.

There is a spacious entrance hall. The lounge/dining room opens onto a large balcony which benefits from the sun from late morning until the sun sets. Spectacular sunsets. Separate kitchen. Plenty of clothes storage space.

 

The apartment is situated on a promontory overlooking the sea on the edge of a working fishing village. The village is alive all year round, unlike the holiday resorts which close down in the Autumn. There are bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and most of the restaurants are open air. There is one open-air night spot situated in the most amazing position next to the sea. All of the bars and restaurants are within walking distance, even the establisments on the opposite side of the harbour being only a short stroll away. The restaurants serve fresh seafood and a variety of other dishes. Both the local wine and beer is good. The local, well-stocked Migros supermarket is also only a short stroll from the apartment.

The village is favoured by anglers who can cast a line from various places around the bays or book a trip with the local fishermen. The locals are extremely adept with merely a line with hooks on it. For a small fee, some of the restaurants will cook the fish you catch.

Small, frequently deserted bays border the coastline around Gulluck. There are boat trips available from the harbour at a very reasonable daily rate. These boats depart in the mornings and lunch is provided on board. There are usually visits made to several bays and fishing is also an option, under the guidance of the crew. Swimming and snorkelling is also a possible pastime during these days out, as well as beachcombing or just lying and relaxing on deck.

The local people in Gulluck are very welcoming and prices of meals in the local restaurants are very reasonable.

The climate is very is very warm from Spring with temperatures in the mid 20's and reaching up to 40C in late July and August. The cooling breezes from the sea make all but the highest temperatures bearable.

Turkey has a very rich history and it is possible from this location to visit Ephesus and the Mausoleum at Halikarnassus (Bodrum); two of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. There are tours available to these locations and drivers/guides can often be found by asking the proprietor at Joe’s Bar (Kurt), down by the harbour-front.

There are two golf courses being built, one to the North and one to the South of Gulluck, both being within easy reach by car. Plans to build a Marina within the harbour are subject to local approval.

Shopping is available in the village and also in Bodrum and Milas, a Dolmus(small bus) can be used to travel to both these locations.

 

The apartment is a non-smoking apartment and unfortunately we do not allow pets.

There is a shared pool with sunbeds and a shared children's pool on the level above the apartment and there are superb sea views from this area. There is also a gym on-site.

The apartment block is built on a hill so consequentially, there are several small flights of steps. This may be a consideration for the mobility-impaired. Owner can talk you through any such concerns.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin. . This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television dvd. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a west facing garden, a west facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The apartment is right beside a beach, swimming.

Close to the apartment you will find boat hire, fishing, walking, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find golf, historic sites, a museum.

Beach is over the road. Ask at Joe's Bar for any other activities that may be available.

Walking to the restaurants and shops in Gulluck takes between 5 minutes to 15 minutes.
