This new villa occupies a prime position overlooking the pool and with stunning bay views. It has been tastefully furnished to sleep a maximum of 10 and has the benefit of 5 double bedrooms (perfect for small parties who want their own room). The largest can be converted into a family room as another 2 children can sleep on the additional sofa bed and we even provide a babies bath and folding cot .There are also 2 fully fitted kitchens, 2 bathrooms (one with large Jacuzzi bath), full air conditioning and fitted fly screens, real fire, patio BBQ and large rooftop sun terrace, garden and patio. The villa is located up a short but steep road giving it panoramic views but unsuitable for the infirm.

Located in a peaceful location just 10 minutes walk from the nearest beach at Kucukbuk (means Little bay) and only 5 minutes by car from the busier beach and shops of Gundogan. The local grocery shop stocking all your essentials is less than a ten minute walk away

The house is on 3 storeys plus large rooftop sun terrace. The ground floor has 3 double bedrooms (1 family with double bed and additional double sofa bed and cot, 1 with double bed, 1 with twin beds), a fitted shower room with WC, a fully fitted kitchen including full size oven and hob and large fridge freezer. While stairs lead up to the salon the ground floor complete with its own entrance from the garden patio is ideal for larger parties that like some degree of privacy. On the middle floor is a large ‘salon’- an open plan kitchen dining and living area. The living room opens onto a large mostly covered terrace complete with featured integrated BBQ. A table and chairs allows comfortable outside dining. The main entrance is on this floor with covered porch and outside lighting. The salon is fully equipped with comfortable seating, T.V. DVD Stereo system and a dining table with 8 chairs. The kitchen has a full size oven and hob, microwave oven, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster. There are also plenty of utensils, cutlery and crockery for you to use.
With full air conditioning throughout and fly screens for added comfort in the hot summer months, the salon also boasts an open fire, ideal for the cooler evenings in the winter months.
The third floor has 2 bedrooms (1 with doublebed, 1 with twin beds, both with small balconies) and a fully fitted bathroom with WC, Jacuzzi bath with shower and a washing machine. Stairs lead to the large roof terrace which has views all around to the bay, surrounding countryside and the shared pool. The roof terrace has sunbeds (for you to use on the roof or round the pool) and a garden swing.

The villa shares a large pool and is complete with kiddies pool, shower area and sunbathing area. The pool is open from May until October and a bar is planned.
 

Sitting on a picturesque bay in the Bodrum peninsula around 30 minutes from Bodrum town centre. Your local bay is only ten minutes walk away with beach, restaurants and bars.
Airport 40 minutes by car or taxi.Airport transfers can be arranged.
The larger village of Gundogan is only 5 mins by car in the next bay and has a nice beach with watersports, harbour, shops, cafes and restaurants. Shops include a Migros supermarket

The nearby town of Yalikavak is around 10 mins by car. On the way there are three major supermarkets (Carrefour, Tansas and Migros) for all your essentials. Yalikavak itself has a Marina, beach, bars, restaurants, and a good shopping street .Thursday is market day.

Gumbet and Bodrum are only 30 minutes away for those who want the busy night life and bustling resorts.

 

Relax around the villa and pool or at the beach. The sun terrace is extremely popular. Please remember your beach towels. Sun beds are available at the villa for you to use around the pool or on large sun terrace overlooking the pool.

The local buses (Dolmus) are cheap and go everywhere, hop on one on the main road and go exploring!
A car is very strongly recommended. Contact us for advice on car hire. Airport transfers are available.
A car allows you to get out and enjoy the Bodrum peninsula and also further away historical sights such as Ephesus – approximately 2 hours away by car.
Nearer is the famous “Rabbit Island” at Gumusluk where the remains of ancient Mindos can be found. Fish restaurants are amongst the best in the peninsula. Take your water shoes to walk over to “Rabbit Island”.
From Gundogan all watersports are on offer, with certified diving from Bodrum and Gumbet. Day trips to Kos from Bodrum are very popular. The peninsula also offers boat trips, walking, cycling, horse riding, tennis, shopping and sightseeing. There is a good selection of restaurants within a 5 minute drive/ 10 minute walk and some excellent restaurants around the peninsula if you want to go further afield.
20 minutes away (on the road to Bodrum) is a large water park. It is opposite the massive KIPA supermarket which is part of the TESCO chain and sells many well known Tesco products as well as local and international brands.
Try a Turkish Bath! There is a traditional hammam opposite the bus staion in Bodrum.

Shopping. Turkey is famous for its markets. Saturday is market day at Turgutreis, Tuesday and Friday Bodrum. Thursday Yalikavak Don’t forget to haggle if there are no fixed prices displayed.
Restaurants.
Whether at the local bay or Gundogan bay a wide selection of restaurants are available.
Towns and villages on the peninsula such as Gumusluk, Bitez and Turkbuku offer even wider choices, and are not far by car.

This spacious villa is ideal for groups up to 10, with 5 double bedrooms. We have an additional sofa bed in the largest bedroom and a folding cot. This makes an excellent family room as it will sleep an additional 2 children and one baby . Two fully fitted kitchens gives complete independence for larger parties. Main bathroom has jacuzzi bath. There is a fireplace for those chilly winter evenings making it ideal for year round use. We have left a small number of CDs, DVDs , books and games, but please bring your own favourites to use when you are here. There is also a mobile phone at the villa in case of emergencies. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a balcony, sea views, panoramic views, a barbeque. JENNIFER says: "As a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children aged10,12 +16) we stayed at Villa Van Hille for 2 weeks at the end of July and had a fantastic holiday. The villa is very spacious and would comfortably accomodate a couple of families with kids. It was clean and well fitted out, with good cooking and barbecue facilities and plenty of entertainnment if required (books, TV, DVD,CD Player - if the heat gets too much). The situation of the villa in relation to the complex as a whole is ideal being right next to the swimming pool which we all enjoyed.The clean pool was larger than we expected and was never busy, we had it to ourselves for many periods. Having our own sunbeds was excellent. As neither of us had ever driven abroad before, we were very apprehensive about hiring a car. However we took on board the advice of the owners and in the event driving around the Bodrum Peninsula provided to be an essential and very rewarding part of the holiday.We visited most places recommended by the owners in the comprehensive instructions they provided- markets(a lot of fun), restaurants, bays - and found plenty of gems of our own. There is something to suit all tastes within a short drive, ranging from the quiet and picturesque nearby towns of Gundogan and Yalikavak to the larger and livelier town of Bodrum. We have already started looking at flights with a view to returning to this Villa next year."
