Beautiful mountain landscapes, activities and closeness to the majestic Sognefjord.Here are mountain lakes and rivers with unique fishing possibilities, golf courses, horseback riding, biking and canoeing, chairlift at the ski centre, day excursions to the Sognefjord, elk-safari and more, and many great hiking routes.

IMPORTANT Cabins/Properties.
Electricity not included in price this will be charged by the on site manager at 1.5 NOK (Norwegian Kroner)per KW used.
For this holiday home in Norway, a deposit is paid when the key is collected, the size of which depending on the value of the holiday home. This deposit acts as security for the holiday home being passed on in a clean and presentable state and as an on-account payment for electricity. The deposit will be (£100) approx.Payable in local currency.
NOTE.(at the onsite managers discretion) The deposit can be doubled, when the holiday is rented in connection with Christmas and New Year.

Cancellation insurance in the case of illness or death.
Included in the rental Norway Direct charges a compulsory cancellation insurance of 4%. Only those people named on the booking form are covered by the insurance.
What does the insurance cover?
The insurance covers that part of the rental which is not refunded by Norway Direct on cancellation of the booking in situations where the insured is prevented from going through with the booking, or where going through with the booking is made extremely difficult: Details of the policy can be sent on request.

Due to the geography and the location of some of the properties in Norway. We would strongly recommend the use of a car during your stay. Public transport can be expensive and infrequent compared to the UK.

Arrival at the holiday home Where nothing else is stated on the Norway Direct website, on price lists or in the rental agreement, the rental period runs from the first day 16.00 (4 p.m.) to the last day 10.00 (10 a.m.). You should arrive at the holiday home on the first day for the holiday period before 19.00 (7 p.m.) unless otherwise stated in the rental agreement. Arrival at a later time should be agreed in good time with Norway Direct's branch office. Norway Direct cannot be held responsible, should late arrival make it impossible to gain access to the holiday home on the first day of the holiday period. All Bookings are subject to our standard terms and conditions.

The cabin comprises 10 bedrooms in total; 4 double, 6 twin and 3 cots. . This gives room for up to 16 people.

The cabin has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm. The cabin has a sauna.

The cabin has television video, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 15 in the living room and 15 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

This is a non-smoking cabin

The cabin is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a garden, a balcony, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The cabin is right beside walking, cycling, skiing/snowboarding.

Close to the cabin you will find a beach, swimming, boat hire, fishing, mountain biking, historic sites, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the cabin you will find climbing, horse riding, a sports center, a museum.

all back safe and sound - I hope Hjordis was happy with everything.
I'll have a look through our photos when they appear to see if any are
suitable for you, but I suspect most will have somebody in them
mucking about, and on first look we didn't take that many of the
cabins.

we all had a great time, and if possible will be returning
