4 bedroom village house with pool newly renovated in Summer 2005. Set in the peaceful village of Oupia in the heart of the minervois vineyards, the house is a perfect base for a relaxing peaceful family holiday 

The ground floor has an open plan living room dining room and new kitchen fully equiped with fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining room opens out via double doors onto a stone patio which leads up to the 8 x 4m fenced swimming pool. The garden looks to the local vineyards and views to the black mountains.

The first floor has two twin bedrooms, a single bedroom and a family bathroom. The master bedroom has an ensuite and doors leading on to the tiled balcony overlooking the garden.

The upper floor is open plan grenier and has four single beds. 

The area is surrounded by vineyards. The village has a small shop,post office and restaurant. Olonzac (3kms) has further shops and restaurants. The Canal du Midi is 10mins away and boats are available to hire at nearby Homps. There is a lake for watersports and swimming 10mins away and the Med beaches are a 40 min drive away

The village house comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin, 1 single and 1 cots, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 9 people.

The village house has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use.

The village house has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

This is a non-smoking village house

The village house is in a very quiet area. It has a private north facing swimming pool, a north facing patio area, a north facing balcony, panoramic views, a barbeque.

The village house is right beside a food shop.

Close to the village house you will find sailing, water skiing, wind surfing, walking, mountain biking, historic sites, a restaurant.

Within easy reach of the village house you will find a beach.

Susan says: "This was a lovely house with a good pool and we had an excellent holiday. It was well equipped and maintained and very comfortable and the neighbours were very friendly. The village is beautiful and there are some excellent walks around the hills. The village restaurant was good too - but we were the only customers on both occasions. The only thing the house lacked was a visitors book, with suggestions and recommendations about places to visit/ restaurants etc and those to avoid."
