This house is over 100 years old and has been lovingly restored in a traditional Spanish style. Its exceptionally thick walls keep the interior cool during the hot summer months.

It has 3 spacious bed rooms, 1 king size bedroom ensuite with hot/cold air conditioning. Bedroom No 2 twin/double now also with hot/cold air conditioning. No 3 Double/Twin Bedroom with large ceiling fans. The family bathroom is truly enormous and there are two further shower rooms, one en-suite. Fully equipped modern kitchen includes washing machine, microwave etc. The long lounge has Satellite TV, DVD player and stereo system. Leading off the entrance hall is a games / quiet room.

Roof terrace with beautiful views of surrounding hills, gardens, BBQ, sunbathing area, dining area and a 11 metre X 4 metre swimming pool which uses modern technology to provide crystal clear chlorine free water.

Madrugada is located in a sleepy rural Spanish village and it is asked that this tranquillity will be maintained by guests who use the house.

The house has an efficient log burner and air conditioning to warm the Master Bedroom and Bedroom No 2, Bedroom No 3 has an electric heater in bedrooms for cool winter evenings.

The house will be cleaned and beds changed weekly.

Old Mojacar, a Moorish town set high on a hill, narrow winding streets with white houses. Steeped in history, it overlooks Mojacar Playa with its many restaurants, bars, shops and beaches, is approximately 45 mins drive away.

Garuucha with sandy beaches and superb fish restaurants. Approximately 40 min drive away.

Vera Nudists Village and Beach 40 minutes drive away. It also boasts a Water Park with its exciting water slides and swimming pools for all ages.

San Juan Beach resort with clean, fine, sandy beaches, shops and restaurants. Only approximately 30 mins drive

Little Hollywood, where ‘Spaghetti’westerns were made. Approximately 1 hrs drive away.

Lorca, historic town with a magnificent castle where actors bring history to life. Approximately 20 min drive away.

The house has 3 bathrooms and 4 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the house cool.

The house has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Derek says: "We had a really great holiday at the villa. Althouh the owners say it is not suitable for elderly people, my active 81 years old mother in law had a wonderful time !!Facilities are very good in the house but a dishwasher would have been well received ( the 3 inside bathrooms are excellent) and the pool is a real gem- big for a private pool, in excellent condition and a provider of great fun for all.We ate all of our meals outside because the outside areas were well appointed. The persistent noise of work on a near by house proved to be a bit of a nuisance.The owners were very helpful and neighbours supported us during the stay by maintaining the pool and giving advice. You do need a car because it is located ina small village but it is 1Km from the Almeria - Murcia motorway - very convenient and there are plenty of sights to visit and things to do. "
