Due Favole: Large, Charming, two storey villa situated at 130 mt. above sea level and is surrounded by tall deep green pine trees. It is very cheerful and extremely panoramic, with astounding open sea views to the Gulf of Naples and Amalfi Coast. The villa has two independent apartments furnished with comfortable modern furniture. The apartments can be rented singly, or together for larger groups.. La Favola One sleeps 3+2, and La Favola Two Sleeps 5 + 4 . The villa is at only 2,5 km from the famous "Maronti Beach" and the renowned hot water springs of Nitrodi. In summer, there is a a public shuttle bus that takes you directly to the beach. The bus stop is at 20 mt from the villa. If you buy a weekly Bus Ticket (Euro 15), you can use all the Island's busses with no limitation for a full week. Therefore, you can forget about driving, and you don't really need to bring your own car. Furthermore, a large supermarket and 2 restaurants are located at 100 mt., and at 50 mt, there is a nice caffé, offering - among other things - the famous Napolitan Coffee and Cappuccino, and succulent fresh croissants. One of the most single important features of the two apartments, is the large terrace each of them has, with an incredible open sea view, where you can sunbathe, relax and eat "al fresco".  

Ischia in a nutshell:
Ischia is the largest Island in the Gulf of Naples. It is also called the Green Island, because of its wonderful vegetation and its woods that in certain areas grow right near the coast line. Ischia has always been a "must see" because of its long sunny and sandy beaches and its very pleasant climate all year round. It is the only place in Italy where you can swim all year round even in winter!!! The reason is that Ischia is an island of volcanic origin, and some of its hot water springs are in the sea, just a few meters from the shore !!! When in Ischia, be sure not to miss its most beautiful beaches (Maronti, Cetara, Ischia Porto, Castiglione and Poseidon Garden Beach), and to experience the very unusual Water Taxis, that can take you to secluded beaches. You should also enjoy one of the mini cruises with several daily departures, that will take you on a boat tour along the Islands' beaches. The southern part of Ischia offers particularly incredible panoramas and innumerable thermal treatment centres, well known also to the Ancient Romans. The Village of Serrara Fontana is the highest of the Island, and from its Belvedere, the breathtaking panorama you can admire is incomparable.
At the end of the day, after enjoying swimming in the warm Mediterranean Sea waters, and long hours spent sunbathing, one can either decide to dine on the terrace while enjoying the splendid sea view, or chose to dine out at one of the many restaurants of the island, and enjoy day-fresh sea food and the exquisite traditional Italian cuisine, and taste one of the round body wines Italy is famous for.  

The villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 single. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the living room. This gives room for up to 5 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this villa.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a summer house, a east facing patio area, a east facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, swimming, boat hire, historic sites, shopping areas.

Marleen says: "La Favola Testimonial I have travelled from coast to coast and back again many times over the course of the past 20 years. To Asia – Europe – France – India – USA – and back to Canada…With each adventure I find along the way, if providence prevails; a restful peaceful hotel, or a quaint B&B’s, or a picturesque villa or lodge while enjoying the local flavour and cultural experiences. But it was not until LA FAVOLA, in the small tranquil hamlet of Fiaino on the island of Ischia off the coast of Naples, Italy that I really found the most wonderful villa of all. My gracious, kind and thoughtful host Domenico Buono made me feel at home by inviting me into his lovely villa. His warm reception and the fabulous accommodations of La Favola made my adventure all that I had hoped for and MORE! The villa was bright, clean, cosy and wonderfully decorated. It was more than I could have hoped for. The living area was inviting, and the bedroom was warm and peaceful. All the necessary amenities are available; including books and my most favourite… a puzzle! Just a short walk up the local street from this fantastic villa, one finds all that is needed! The view from the patio was the most spectacular site to behold. In my three months at the villa I spent many hours enjoying the view of Ischia Porto, the Mediterranean Sea, and Mount Vesuvius in the horizon. During my entire visit, I felt that I was embraced as a friend and had a feeling of ‘presence’ that was consistently enhanced by the kind welcoming attitude of the residents of the local area around La Favola Fiaino. My sabbatical turned into a fantastic enchanting experience for myself, my visiting friends and family, and in no small part due to the wonderful friendship of Domenico Buono my wonderful host! I hope to return soon to La Favola! "
