Our delightfully restored house is available for an experience of rural Spain.
The hamlet is between the towns of Fuensanta de Martos and Castillo de Locubin in the heart of the olive growing province of Jaen.

Casa El Reguelo has been refurbished by two English couples, one of which live nearby. The house is comfortable and has lovely views, private patio and small pool. The garden is completely enclosed, and a portable bbq, and patio furniture are of course supplied.

We thoroughly enjoy our house and hope you will too. The downstairs is wheelchair friendly, with a double bedroom with shower room. The whole floor is on one level, also access to the patio through the dining area, and double wooden doors is set free.

There are easy going steps down to the garden.

Upstairs is one single one twin room and shower room, and further stairs lead to a lovely wooden beamed roof terrace.

This is a rural location and a car is a necessity, there are no shops or bars in the hamlet, the nearest ones are in Fuensanta 6km away. 

The historical cities of Baeza, Cordoba, Granada, Jaen and Ubeda are all within 1.5 hours drive.
Jaen has a wonderful Vandelvira cathedral, some of the best preserved Arab baths in Spain, and Santa Catalina castle overlooking the city.

The farm house comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin, 1 single and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 7 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The farm house has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use.

The farm house has television satellite/cable.

There is room for 5 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

There is a double bedroom with wheelchair friendly chower'room on the first floor. 

The farm house is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a east facing balcony, interesting views, a barbeque.

The farm house is right beside walking, cycling.

Close to the farm house you will find fishing, historic sites.

Within easy reach of the farm house you will find horse riding.

Mary says: "We enjoyed our holiday at El Reguelo. The house was comfortable and had everything that we needed. I was a little disappointed that the swimming pool was empty, but I guess it was still spring time, although to us from a cooler climate it seemed warm enough to swim. There is plenty to see & do in the region, but a car is essential. It is hard to say if it is value for money as we haven't stayed in any similar places. If you got a last minute booking discount, it would be better value."
