Superbly positioned above a quiet, no through road in the peaceful Kalamar Bay area of Kalkan, Villa Esinti was completed in 2006 and is furnished to a modern, high standard to provide spacious and comfortable accommodation for 8 people, with independently controlled air conditioning and heating throughout.

The entrance hall leads into a large, open plan living area with comfortable seating for 8, satellite TV, DVD & portable radio/cassette/CD player, open fireplace, large dining table with 8 chairs, and two double doors out onto the terrace. The quality fitted kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher & washing machine.

The first floor has one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and one twin/double with spacious ensuite shower room. All bedrooms have dressing area, with built-in wardrobe, and double doors opening onto private, front balconies. There is a further small balcony off the landing to the rear.

The second floor is similar to the first floor, with identical bedrooms and bathrooms but larger front balconies.

The third floor has a small fitted kitchen with sink and refrigerator, leading onto a large roof terrace with deep soft sofas, tables, chairs, parasol and panoramic views of the sea and surrounding headlands and mountains.

The villa faces South-West and its private swimming pool (6.5m x 4m) and spacious terrace are raised well above the quiet road. There are 8 wooden loungers with cushions, a table seating 8 for al fresco dining, and 4 large parasols.


 

Villa Esinti is 20 minutes walk or 2-3 minutes by taxi from the centre of Kalkan. Some supermarkets offer a free delivery service. A few bars and restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk, as is the Kalamar Beach Club, which offers restaurant, water sports, diving and self-drive boat hire. The villa is well placed for visiting many historical sites and walking the ancient Lycian Way. 

The village nestles in a beautiful bay of the Mediterranean Sea on Turkeys stunning Turquoise Coast, with the Taurus Mountains as its backdrop. Once a simple fishing village, it has developed sensitively into a charming and sophisticated resort but retains its traditional character. Kalkans warm but relaxed welcome encourages visitors to return year after year and many regard it as their second home. The narrow, cobbled streets leading down to the harbour are lined with shops selling interesting antiques, crafts, jewellery, clothing and accessories late into the evening. A weekly market is held on Thursdays. A range of bars refreshes the pre-dinner amble around the village and offers stylish and atmospheric jazz and blues later in the evening

Kalkan is renowned above all for its amazing selection of restaurants, offering great value in Turkish, Mediterranean and international cuisine, including wonderful fresh seafood. Many are on rooftops with spectacular views over the bay others give the opportunity to watch the world go by around the harbour or in quiet side streets.

Kalkan has a Post Office, three banks with ATMs and a selection of internet cafes.
 

Villa Esinti has a large roof terrace, with deep soft sofas, tables and chairs and its own mini-kitchen, affording panoramic sea and mountain views. Twin rooms have linking beds which can be made up as doubles. All showers have thermostatic controls and all plumbing is to UK standard, avoiding the need for bathroom paper bins. There is a guest cloakroom off the entrance hall. The rental price includes a welcome hamper, daily pool and garden maintenance, twice-weekly cleaning and linen change. Daily cleaning is available at extra cost (see below). Guests should bring their own pool/beach towels. A small selection of books, DVDs & CDs is available for guests’ use. A hair dryer, mosquito machines and a digital safe are provided for your convenience. There is a garage for you to park in the shade. Normal changeover day is Friday but we may be able to accommodate requests for alternative dates.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin and 1 cots, 4 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 4 bathrooms and 5 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private swimming pool, a garden, a patio area, a balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking and a garage with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, scuba diving, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.
