If you have never visited Kalkan before, youll be looking for some reassurance that it really is a great place for a holiday. Weve been visiting Kalkan since 1999 and like so many other became hooked after our first visit.

Kalkan is a sleepy town on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea at the foot of the dramatic Taurus mountains. Its distance from the airport and strict planning laws means that it has escaped the ravages of mass tourism. But sleepy does not mean dull! There is so much to see and do to suit all tastes, from scuba diving and white water rafting to more gentle shopping, sunbathing or exploring the nearby sites of historic interest.  

Completed in the summer of 2004 and originally intended as a boutique hotel, this block of 9 upscale apartments command one of the best views over Kalkan Bay. Sharing a pool and a sun terrace, the apartments are built into the hillside and are light and airy with well proportioned rooms.

Our apartment is two bedroomed sleeping 4 in comfort. Both bedrooms are en-suite with a further shower room off the lounge. The master bedroom is our favourite with a 6 superking size bed. Just the job to stretch out and r-e-l-a-x! All main rooms are air-conditioned and double glazed.

The apartment offers all the essentials as well as being tastefully and comfortably furnished. All kitchen equipment, bedding, towels etc are provided. A maid provides a daily service to the apartment, with linen changed twice weekly. A welcome pack is provided to get you started.

It is a fifteen minute walk down into the town, although taxis are readily available and cost around £2.00 for the short journey...well worth it after a wonderful meal in the many restaurants in town. There are three supermarkets in the town which are well stocked with everything youll need and normally offer a free delivery service.

The apartment also has 24 hour onsite security.

Kalkan is some 90 miles to the south east of Dalaman airport, which is served during the summer months (May - Oct) by many charter and scheduled airlines. MyTravel, Exel, Thomson, Monarch are probably the best ones to check out. In 2006, British Airways start a twice weekly service from Gatwick to Dalaman at very reasonable rates. Winter flights are also now available from Gatwick and Manchester to Dalaman.
Transfers to and from Dalaman take around 90 minutes and the countryside is an enjoyable part of the journey. Prices for transfers are shown on the Prices and Availability page.

Car Hire is available in the town dont book it at the airport otherwise youll pay considerably more for it. If you want to make your own way to/from the property let us know so we can arrange key collection/deposit. 

The property is contemporary and stylishly furnished, making it light, bright and spacious. Every thought has been given to making this a real 'home from home' with some touches of five star luxury! The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls.

There is room for 4 in the living room and 4 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a east facing patio area, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views.

Within easy reach of the apartment you will find climbing, walking, cycling, scuba diving, historic sites.
