We chose this apartment as our holiday home because of its location - it's quiet with excellent amenities closeby. It was completed early in 2005.

LOCATION

Kapparis is an up-and-coming, peaceful and picturesque locality with easy access to the traditional towns of Paralimni and Dherynia. Kapparis is a year-round resort, unlike the nearby seasonal resorts of Protaras, Pernera and Ayia Napa.

Although Kapparis has supermarkets, restaurants and bars, a car is really essential for maximum pleasure, as in the UK.

The journey from/to Larnaca airport takes about 45 minutes and is mostly motorway and dual carriageway. Should you have to use Paphos airport, it takes about two hours. Cyprus traffic drives on the left-hand side of the road, as in the UK.

The Edessa complex is set back from the main road through Kapparis and backs onto Captain Karas Holiday Apartments with its pool, bars, restaurants and children's mini-park.

Within 300 metres in each direction of Angel's Rest, there are:
- six tavernas/restaurants
- six bars (all serving food)
- three commercial apartment complexes with public pools
- two mini-supermarkets
- a bakery

THE TRUTH!!!
Kapparis is currently undergoing an expansion programme (as with other parts of Cyprus!) with many new property developments in progress. However, there is no building work in the immediate vicinity of the apartment.
Although the first people took possession of Edessa apartments in mid-2004, the access roads are still not tarmaced.
The nearest bus stop is almost a kilometre away at the Kapparis roundabout.
The nearest beach is about 800 metres and takes some 10-15 minutes to walk, but is worth it!
The communal pool is a commercial enterprise, with poolside bar serving drinks and snacks; providing your own refreshments is therfore not allowed. The size of pool and amenities more than compensate for this.

The apartment has been furnished and equipped in a contemporary style with the objective of making it modern, light and spacious. It is aimed at providing pleasant, comfortable accommodation for two or three people with the flexibility of catering for up to four. Most of the contents have been shipped over from the UK.

WELCOME PACK
A welcome pack is provided although there are two supermarkets closeby with long opening hours and a bakery. Othere bakeries nearby are open 24 hours a day.

MID-LET CLEANS
These can be arranged locally by arrangement if you wish.

TRANSPORT
Travel to/from Larnaca airport is either by taxi (expensive), private transfer (CYP25 each way - payable locally) or by hire car. Please advise your preferred method of transport on booking.

There is a variety of establishments within easy walking distance for eating out, from breakfast to snacks to evening meals.

AND FINALLY... this apartment is also our holiday home. We hope we have included everything to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. 

Internet access is available via dial-up if you bring your own laptop. Radio channels are available on the TV satellite system. The DVD player also plays CDs and MP3s. The washing machine also has a tumble dry facility.

The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin. . This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The apartment has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool.

The apartment has television dvd, satellite/cable.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this apartment.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a garden, a east facing balcony, sea views. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The apartment is right beside swimming, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the apartment you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, horse riding, scuba diving, historic sites, a museum, a zoo, shopping areas, a themepark.
