Kerford Cottage is situated on the outskirts of Kenmare Town, which is known worldwide for its shops and restaurants. The cottage has spectacular views over Kenmare Bay and Mountains We are on the Ring of Beara which has some of the most spectacular views in the whole of Ireland. Visitors are enchanted by what we have here and return year after year. The peace and simplicity are second to none. The pace of life is that of times long gone!! 

Inside the Cottage you will find everything you need to make your stay with us comfortable. There are three bedrooms (sleeping six) all with views over the Mountains, the lounge with its open fire and views over the Kenmare Bay, and a large kitchen/diner also with views over the Bay and mountains. There is a large front garden with picnic table and chairs for those who like outside dining while drinking in the views.
Autumn/Winter visitors will be pleasantly surprised - usually warm and with only rare frosts. Breathtaking winter scenes to photograph. 

All our visitors tell us their holiday is not long enough to see everything we have to offer!! The Ring of Kerry, The Beara Peninsula, Killarney Lakes and lots of others too many to mention. The restaurants and pubs in Kenmare offer a tremendous variety of cuisine - all scrumpious!! There is lots of craft shops all over Kerry who sell local Turf Crafts and local Linens.
For the energetic visitor there is a Sailing Centre half a mile from Kerford where you can hire a canoe and go sailing with the Seals. The Sailing Centre also has an excellent Restaurant where you can sit and watch the sailing whilst enjoying your meal (and a pint of the best Guiness)! 

There is electric nightstore heaters which can be used in the cooler weather, the cost for electricity will vary, in the summer it can be as low as 5euros, if the nightstore heaters are used in the winter it can be as high as 45euros. This is left up to the visitor whether they want to use this facility or not. We also have a two bedroomed cottage, sleeping four persons. Smoking is only allowed outside the cottage.

The cottage comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The cottage has 1 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use.

The cottage has television video, dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Pets are accepted in this property but must be supervised at all times. Pets are not allowed to roam without supervision and must not be left in the cottage alone. 

Not suitable for wheelchairs 

The cottage is in a very quiet area. It has a north facing garden, a south facing patio area, sea views, panoramic views. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The cottage is right beside walking.

Close to the cottage you will find a beach, swimming, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, scuba diving, historic sites, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.
