Sarang Mas which means Golden Nest was renovated and launched in Jan 2009 for the small group travellers numbering between 4 to 10 paxs. This is situated right in the city centre and therefore very convenient for those traveling with small children or with the elderly as they may need to come back to the house to take afternoon naps or to wait till it is not too hot to venture out again.

Due to our strategic location you may walk to almost all of the city attactions. Across the road from us is Jalan Bukit Bintang which has 7 shopping malls and the famous food street Jalan Alor is just a 5 mins walk away.

For those not wanting to walk too much we are serviced by the Hang Tuah monorail and the LRT stations.

Sarang Mas was first built in 1920s. The style of architecture is very Bristish Colonial. It is one of the very few houses of this era left standing in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city. You will find that we have made it a point to retain certain aspects of those years in terms of the floor tiles, high roof and the facade. Now it is fully airconditioned . There are 1 toilet, 1 shower room and 1 toilet and shower room combined. Both showers are with hot water. However they are not ensuite as this was the case for all houses built in those days.

Our aim is to allow our guests to have a very comfortable stay with us while in Kuala Lumpur. Our rates include daily local breakfast and laundry on alternate days. Let us take care of the mundane things while you concentrate on having a good time.

We have a view of the KL Tower. It is especially pretty at night when the lights are on.

The house comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the house cool.

The house has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play radio. A computer with Internet connection is also available for your use.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The house is in a very quiet area. It has a north facing garden, interesting views. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The house is right beside walking, cycling.

Close to the house you will find swimming, flying, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports center, historic sites, a museum, a zoo, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a themepark, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the house you will find boat hire, fishing, climbing.
