Only 50 metres from the beaches of the Mar Menor and a lovely walkway, and 150 metres from the Mediterranean you would be hard pressed to find a nicer location.
The communal pool is shaped and inviting if you tire of the beaches and there is a community tennis court for your use.
Shops, bars and restaurants are all within a short walking distance as is the Thomas Maestro Marina where you can admire the cruisers, or try out the many restaurants and bars.
This really is an up and coming area of La Manga, called the new Marbella the marina has almost doubled in size and plans for a new deep sea Marina on the Med side are due to go ahead next year.
A car is not necessary, airport pick up can be arranged 

The apartments are next door to each other on the ground floor, they are modern and well furnished
The apartments are bright and spacious with entry lobby which opens to the lounge, which have TV and DVD, a sofa bed and French windows to a good size terrace with tables and chairs for dining.
One bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two singles, both the bedrooms have French windows to terraces and fitted wardrobes.
There is a modern bathroom with shower over the bath and bidet.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need to cater for a familly, a small utility room leads off with washing machine and a very useful sink for rinsing all that sand off!
Both have entry phones and safes.
Air conditioning and underfloor heating make the apartments comfortable all year round - La Manga has sun for an average 320 days a year, the winter months are warm during the day but it is nice have heating for the evening.







 

La Manga
Is a strip of sand spprox. 22kms long (this property is 13km along the strip) which forms a barrier and encloses the Mar Menor - Little Sea- and separates it from the Mar Mayor- Big Sea - or Mediterranean. At its narrowest it is only 100 metres wide. At the 2 extremes of the strip there are protected natural areas, Las Salinas, here you can see the pink pelicans. The Mar Menor is a paradise for nautical sports and you will find jet skis, diving, fishing and every other water sport available either in the Tomas Maestro marina or the sandy beach about 50 metres from the apartment.

La Manga has a very good bus service if you prefer not to drive, visit Cartagena, the oldest sea port in the world, roman digs, museums, beautiful buildings still showing bullet scars from the Civil War. Shops and the New Marina area are worth a visit and the nearest McDonalds!

Cartagena
Is the nearest town and has the biggest local festival at the beginning of September a whole week of battles, and amazing site to see the Romans landing their boats and fighting off the Cartagenians, thousands dress up, even the babies and fight through the streets with a huge themed eatting park and fair. Don't worry if you miss this one, there are always fiestas in this area.

You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Suitable for any age as 'little sea' is warm and calm and the bars and restaurants within walking distance stay open until the early hours.
