There are licenced restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. It is about 15 minutes walk to get inside the walls of old Lagos and another 8-10 minutes walk to the river. The Porto Mós and Dona Ana beach are about 15 minutes walk while other beaches are 20 and 30 minutes away on foot. Travelling by town bus service, taxis and, of course, hire cars or your own/hire car will reduce these travelling times considerably.
