The Domaine de Loustalviel is a cluster of three beautifully restored farmhouses which together can accommodate up to 17 people in considerable comfort with great peace and tranquillity, and with glorious and uplifting views of the Pyrenees.

You can find details of each of the separate houses on their individual pages within the VillaRenters site. The houses (and their Villarenters reference numbers) are:

- LoustalBeau (17986): one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both with ensuite facilities, for up to four people.

- LoustalNeuf (20140): one double bedroom and one large TRIPLE bedroom, both with ensuite facilities, for up to five people. (Note that the VillaRenters system does not cater for "triples", so their pages list this as a twin.)

- LoustalViel (5688): two doubles, both with ensuite facilities, and two twins which share a bathroom, for up to 8 people.


 

· Private gardens and shaded outdoor dining/barbecue areas;

· Large open-plan sitting, dining and kitchen areas with TV and DVD players (plus a second sitting room in LoustalViel);

· A sensitive blend of modern furniture for functionality, and hand-picked traditional Languedoc, Cathar and Catalan pieces to add style and atmosphere;

· The paintings are by a local artist

· Fully equipped modern kitchens with dishwashers, fridge/freezers, microwaves, double sinks, electric ovens, and gas hobs;

· Ceramic or oak strip flooring;

· Central heating and log-burning stoves to take the chill off spring and autumn evenings;

· Separate downstairs w.c.;

· Separate utility areas with washing machine

 

Please note that the automated VillaRenters automated system describes the three properties below as though they were a single house.

Importantly, you should know that there is ample space and equipment for all 17 guests to eat together inside or outside - or they can split up and dine in their own houses or gardens.

And please note that although the Villarenters automated system shows LoustalNeuf as having a twin bedroom, it actually has a very large triple. 

There are 17 permanent beds in 4 double bedrooms, 3 twin bedrooms and one triple bedroom. A folding 4th bed can be provided in the triple bedroom, but is recommended only for children and teenagers. We can, in addition, supply up to 3 cots for under 18-month-olds. Set in 7 acres of gardens and meadows, with sole use of the large swimming pool. Everywhere you go, there are spectacular panoramic views of the Pyrenees.

The farm house comprises 8 bedrooms in total; 4 double, 4 twin and 3 cots, 6 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 18 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The farm house has 7 bathrooms and 10 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The farm house has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls. Recreational activities available with the farm house include table tennis.

There is room for 15 in the living room and 15 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this farm house.

Pets are not welcome

The farm house is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a summer house, a south facing patio area, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The farm house is right beside swimming.

Close to the farm house you will find cycling, horse riding, tennis, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the farm house you will find sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, climbing, flying, walking, mountain biking, skiing/snowboarding, golf, a sports center, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas.

On-site there's football, basket ball, boules and table-tennis .
