Villa Montana Roja is situated on the peaceful Shangrila Park residential development just a few minutes drive away from the centre of Playa Blanca. It is close to superb coastal scenery, and also the dormant volcano Montana Roja which offers a great walk and magnificent views of the Southern and Western coastlines. Local shops and bars are a within a 10 minute walk, and the nearest beach is 30 minutes walk, or 5 minutes drive away.

This one-bedroom semi-detached villa is conveniently placed and has superb all-round views from its lovely roof terrace. The villa is fully furnished and has a pleasant garden and patio area with a built in barbecue. The bedroom has a double and single bed and the lounge also provides two double sofa beds. Satellite TV, a DVD and a selection of films are provided for use by guests. The kitchen is fully equipped.

A tennis court is also available and the villa provides two adult rackets and a junior racket plus balls for use by guests. Two adult bicycles and one junior bicycle are provided for guests to use.

In addition to the villa towels, two beach towels are provided. Smokers are welcome to smoke on the patio area or in the garden. Car parking is available within a few metres of the villa.

Lanzarote has many interesting attractions for such a small island. A visit to the Timanfaya National Park is a must for first-time visitors. Playa Blanca is a beautiful and relaxed resort with a delightful promenade, interesting shops and superb restaurants. Evening entertainment is available for those who like to spend pleasant relaxing evenings rather than expend lots of energy. The Canary Island climate is ideal for both Winter and Summer holidays. Winter daytime temperatures average about 20 degrees and summer temperatures about 30. Typically there is an accompanying light breeze that makes every day feel pleasant and comfortable. Annual rainfall is approximately 4 inches.
 

Playa Blanca offers great opportunity for those interested in a DIVING holiday. Beginners can take advantage of the local diving schools that provide both equipment and instruction. Lanzarote is a popular island for CYCLING. The villa has two adult bikes and a junior bike for the use of guests, and if these do not suit your taste there are bicycle hire shops in Playa Blanca that may be able to meet your exact needs. Shangrila Park has a TENNIS court for guests use and the villa provides two adult tennis rackets and a child racket. If you like to RUN or jog, then the Playa Blanca promenade is an ideal route. There is a very pleasant GOLF course on the island, approximately 40 minutes drive away. A new course is planned adjacent to the villa. 

The villa roof terrace has splendid 360 degree views from which the sea and neighbouring Fuerteventura can be seen. The dormant volcano Montana Roja provides a striking view from the patio.

The villa comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 double and 1 cots. The property also has 1 double sofa bed. This gives room for up to 4 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.
