Traditional Spanish village cottage, rustic and full of character, in a remarkable and atmospheric area of Spain with stunning views from the roof terrace. Recently renovated and refurnished. The property is situated in the peaceful and beautiful Lecrin Valley. 

It is ideally located being only 40 minutes drive from uncrowded beaches on the Costa Tropical coast (Salobrena and Almunecar), yet also only 35 minutes drive from the historic city of Granada and the Alhambra Palace. What’s more, the Sierra Nevada mountains (ski-ing and winter sports) and the Alpujarras (walking and mountain villages) are visible and within easy reach.  

This delightful traditional cottage sleeps 4 adults and 2 children, and retains many original features including décor, beams, fireplace, and wooden shuttered windows.

You will, however, want to spend most of your time enjoying the views, soaking up the sun or perhaps having a barbecue on the new roof-top terrace. The property is next to a finca (fruit farm), and benefits from the citrus aroma from nearby orange and lemon trees.

The cottage is located in Saleres, which is a hillside farming village that has changed little over the years. The village is characterised by white walled houses lovingly tended by their owners, narrow attractive streets where you are more likely to meet a donkey than a car, and several viewpoints over the area.

An ideal holiday base for a family or holiday party with varied interests, or for relaxing into and enjoying Spanish village life. Plenty to see and do all year round! 

The village house comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots. The property also has 1 double sofa bed located in the in the living area 1 double bunk bed located in the in the second (twin) bedroom. This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The village house has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use.

The village house has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, a clothes drier. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The village house is in a very quiet area. It has a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, panoramic views, a barbeque.

The village house is right beside walking, cycling.

Close to the village house you will find fishing, a sports center, a restaurant, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the village house you will find a beach, swimming, sailing, climbing, horse riding, golf, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a themepark.

The historic city of Granada and the Alhambra Palace are around 40 mins drive.
