This luxury villa has a private swimming pool. The house is built on the the east facing mountains of island of Lefkada and has been built to very luxury standards. Equipped with both air-conditioning and central heating, it makes it suitable to rent in all seasons.

The large plot where the house is built on, was originally an olive-groove and the surrounding of the house has been maintained as much as possible in its original state. Therefore the house has very much a ‘country feel'. In the garden is a separate bbq area and there is plenty of shade around the house, where one can enjoy the splendid views from a hammock.

Coming into the house, there is first the fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table. There’s a separate room for the washing machine and a bathroom. Directly opposite to the kitchen is the living room with a large sofa and all comforts like TV, DVD and CD/Stereo player.

Downstairs is the master double bedroom with its own bathroom with bath, large cupboards and TV. From the living room the marble stairs give access to the two upstairs bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom and large cupboards. French doors open onto the east upstairs terrace.

Car hire is recommended for this property and can be arranged for you so that your car will be ready at the airport or the house.

The Villa has been built on a quiet hillside on the east side of the Lefkada island, in Periyiali, just 5 min. away from the town of Nidri. This offers you a quiet getaway while restaurants, beaches and other facilities are in easy minutes reach.

You will probably find some of the most picturesque views around, looking out on the calmer waters of the east coast and overlooking the famous Onassis island of Scorpios, the other islands and mainland Greece. The east facing position assures you as of some breathtaking sunrise views and also provides you with shady afternoons during the hot summer days.

 

Lefkada nestles away in the centre of the Ionian Islands and is the only island linked to mainland Greece. A swing bridge gives easy access by road, with the newly extended and refurbished airport of Preveza about a 30 minute drive. The island and the surrounding area has a lot to offer - anything from sailing, windsurfing, cycling, scuba-diving, walking, exploring ancient archaeological sites or just that lazy beach holiday. On the east coast with its pebble beaches, you will probably find some of the most picturesque views around. On the West cost you will find some of the most beautiful sandy beaches and stunning sunsets.

Lefkada maintains its charm because of the strict building laws which do not allow high storey blocks. Although less commercialized then its neighboring islands, Lefkada offers a wide choice of facilities. Off the beaten track you will still find old mountain villages or lovely little fishing villages. In contrast, as well as the fishing villages and smaller coastal retreats there are two main resorts on the island, Nidri and Vassiliki offering just about everything for the holiday maker and where ferry and boat trips leave to go to the other islands.

Lefkas is within easy reach due to the direct flights to the airport of Preveza from several airports such as Manchester and London (UK) and Amsterdam (Holland).
 

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 3 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 3 bathrooms and 4 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television and home cinema with dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.
