This beautiful villa is located in Galamares, 4 Km from Sintra, UNESCO World heritage site and a 5min drive to various unspoiled beaches. It is in a very quiet area and offers lots of sunlight since its facing south. The private swimming pool and the 60m2 living room enjoy a splendid clear view over the Sintra mountain and Monserrate palace which is lighted up in the evenings. There are no buildings directly in front of the house. It has 750 m2 of a great cared garden with a tall palm tree, pine trees, flowers and grass areas. It has a relaxing veranda over the pool and an outdoor covered lounge area with sofas in front of the BBQ area. It has satellite TV (80 channels), DVD, stereo, wireless Internet and a permanent table tennis. Within a 5 minute walk are 5 restaurants, a golf driving range, start of various mountain trails, 100 year old tram line, bus stop, bakery, butcher and a small grocery store. Ten excellent golf courses are within a 10-30 min drive. Along the seaside on the various beaches are many restaurants.
 

Nearby beaches include Praia das Maçãs with its various seafood restaurants, cafés and craft shops, Praia Grande with cafés by the sand and various surfing schools and Praia da Adraga, voted the most beautiful in Europe in 2003. Two giant seawater swimming pools with all facilities including kid´s pool can be found by the beaches. Colares wine cellar is only 3 km away. Cabo da Roca, Europes most western point and Azenhas do Mar, a village perched on a cliff, are 9km away. Sintra, within a 5 min drive or 40 minute walk through mountain trails, offers such sites as the National Palace, Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Seteais Palace, Moorish Castle, Monserrate Palace, Capuchos Convent and many botanical gardens. The villa is located 30 Km (a 45 min train ride) from the airport or Lisbon centre with its many historical monuments, the Alfama Moorish area with live fado music and the Bairro Alto bar hopping area. Cascais nightlife and Estoril casino are 14km away.

The villa comprises 5 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 4 twin and 2 cots, 3 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 2 single sofa beds located in the bedrooms. This gives room for up to 12 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 4 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cds, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming and outgoing calls. Recreational activities available with the villa include table tennis.

There is room for 10 in the living room and 10 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a very quiet area. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a east facing balcony, panoramic views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, climbing, flying, mountain biking, horse riding, skiing/snowboarding, golf, tennis, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas.
