Beautiful house for summer holiday rental situated in Azenhas do Mar, 2 minutes by foot from Azenhas do Mar beach and 10 minutes from Praia das Maçãs beach.
This romantic house has a very nice garden with a private swimming pool (10m x 4,20m) and an excellent view to the sea.
It has 3 bedrooms, all of them with view towards the sea, 2 bathrooms, one with shower and one with jacuzzi.
It has a full equipped kitchen and a living and dinning room with fireplace and a lovely view to the swimming pool and to the sea. Earlier morning there are fishing boats 500 m in front of the house and you can also heard and watch the lovely gulls flying above the sea.
The house is new as well as everything inside her because she was constructed recently.

It is located in a very important and historical place as it was in the ancient century the summer resort of the Portuguese kings. 

“Quinta do Mar” is located in Azenhas do Mar-Colares, 10 km from SINTRA, world heritage site declared by UNESCO. “Azenhas do mar” it’s a small village hanging on the vertical cliffs over the sea formed by little white-washed houses, trimmed in blue, that seem to cling to the rocks over the sea, ending in a very small beach with a natural swimming pool. With a strong fishing traditions, Azenhas do Mar is a popular place both in Summer and Winter, due to the beautiful view it offers. There, you can admire the Atlantic Ocean in all its splendor and watch fishing trawlers sailing. It is 1,5 km far from Praia das Maçãs, where you can go by foot along the cliffs. There you will find restaurants where you can taste the very appreciated Portuguese gastronomy (fish and seafood), one of the best in the world, cafes, bars, discotheques as well as shops selling local crafts and a swimming-pool with sea water.

5 Km from Colares, a demarcated wine-growing region, famous for its excellent wine, which can be tasted in “Adega Regional de Colares”. Near several others white sandy beaches like Adraga (3 Km), considered in 2003 the most beautiful beach in Europe, Praia Grande (2 Km), Aguda (1,5 Km), Magoito (4 Km) and Praia da Ursa, a naturist beach near Cabo da Roca, 4 km of distance, the westernmost point on the European continent, defined by the poet Camões as “where the land ends and the sea begins”. In 15 km far you can find Guincho/Cascais where the world championship of windsurf is held and famous for the kyte surf. Sintra, world heritage site declared by UNESCO, is 10 Km far from and has historic monuments like Moorish Castle, Monastery of Capuchos, Monserrate Palace, National Palace, Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Seteais Palace and fabulous botanical gardens. Robert Southey, English poet describes Sintra as the most bless, spot on the whole inhabitable globe.

 

The house has one complete bathroom with a Jacuzzi and another bathroom with a shower. (2 bathrooms)

The house comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 2 twin and 1 cots. . This gives room for up to 6 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 2 bathrooms for your party's use.

The house has television dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 6 in the living room and 6 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils.
