The Ivy is a four bedroom detached house in the heritage town of Lismore, county Waterford, Ireland. The Ivy is newly constructed to the highest standards just a stones throw away from the lovely old town centre of Lismore.

The house has 3 double bedrooms and 1 single. The master bedroom is ensuite, and there is great family bathroom for the other guests. The bedrooms all have polished wooden floors and the comfortable beds have crisp white linens.

On the ground floor, the large sitting room features an open fireplace, which can be used to make the room even
more cosy on winter evenings. There is satellite TV and a DVD for your entertainment.

The dining area is connected to the kitchen and also to a large sunny patio, via french doors. The kitchen is very well equipped with full size electric oven, microwave, grill, dishwasher, coffee maker and toaster. The separate utility room houses an automatic washing machine, clothes dryer, iron and ironing board.

There is also a small office area complete with Broadband Internet connection.

The Ivy has beautifully landscaped gardens, offering you seclusion and privacy.  

The Ivy is a dream house and a perfect base to escape from the real world and to visit garciuos Lismore Castle castle gardens and Art Centre. Nearby you'll also find the spectaculr drive through the Vee valley, Mount Mellary, the Balckwater Valey garden trail and lots of other places of interest.

The Ivy is within easy walking distance of Lismore town centre, the Castle, the river Blackwater, lovel restaurants and great pubs. There are lots of activities available in the area including Lismore's famous Salmon and other fishing, horseriding, golf and of course the beaches of The Irish Riviera. 

 

The house comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 3 double, 1 single and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. . This gives room for up to 7 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The house has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The house has television satellite/cable.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The house is in a very quiet area. It has a south facing garden, a south facing patio area. If you are driving there is private parking.

The house is right beside walking, cycling, historic sites, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a restaurant, a food shop.

Close to the house you will find swimming, fishing, mountain biking, golf.

Within easy reach of the house you will find a beach, sailing, boat hire, climbing, scuba diving.

Catherine says: "A lovely property in a great location for lismore town. Excellently decorated with fab showers, great garden for the kids and everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely return. The only thing I would ask for would be some velux blinds in the master bedroom as it gets bright v early in there. Otherwise, fantastic!"
