The Garden Lodge is the original chauffeur’s house of a Edwardian villa situated in the village of Boiscommun in the beautiful Loiret district of France, east of Orleans, surrounded by rolling fields and the ancient royal forest.

The Lodge is a detached house situated behind Villa Cedrus, the main building, in a large secluded walled garden and has a one bedroom flat fitted with everything necessary for a relaxing stay.

It is close to Paris and Orleans and within the Loire Valley, at the heart of the Chateau Country and vineyards of the Loire.

 

Situated in its own building behind Villa Cedrus, the accommodation is suitable for two people, and comprises a comfortable double bedroom. A fully furnished sitting room
An optional further single bed is available on request.
A fully equipped kitchen and finally, a bathroom
fitted with shower, basin and toilet.
All the rooms have electric heating. Hot water is provided.
The suite is supplied with all the necessary bedding and linen for the kitchen and bathroom; all are changed at least once a week or upon request.
Our guests are welcomed to use the gardens and garden furniture is also available.
We also supply bicycles for the enjoyment of the country-side
Unfortunately, and due to the nature of the landscape, ball games are not allowed within the gardens.
 

The region caters for all tastes, from long walks in the forest, gardens and parks along the rivers and the lakes, to cruises on the canals, from aquatic sports, cycling on the quiet roads and paths, to horseback riding, ballooning and golfing without forgetting all the different events across the region from sons
et lumieres in the castles, country fairs to classical recitals and historical re-enactments.
The village of Boiscommun enjoys a XIII century church and the ruin of a former castle together with beautiful gardens and an old-fashioned atmosphere.
The village is well supplied with all the essential food and souvenir shops as well as antique dealers. 

We provide full garden furniture and supply English videos and DVDs on request. Should there be anything missing for your enjoyment, please do not hesitate to ask us; if we have it you will be more than welcome to use it.

The gite comprises 1 bedrooms in total; 1 double. . This gives room for up to 2 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The gite has 1 bathrooms and 1 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The gite has video, dvd. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 2 in the living room and 2 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a clothes drier, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

Smoking is allowed in this gite.

The gite is in a very quiet area. It has a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, panoramic views. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The gite is right beside walking, cycling.
