The villa is in an idyllic location where one can have the best of all worlds, excellent maid service, relaxing stress-free seclusion, golden beaches nearby and some of the best golf courses in the world.

Situated on a hillside in rural Algarve, the villa has breath-taking and uninterrupted views of the sea, mountains and coastal towns. Faro Airport is just fifteen minutes away. Beautiful beaches, golf courses, waterparks and many other leisure facilities are also within easy reach. 

The accommodation is on two levels. A large entrance hall leads into the living area which has a spacious lounge and conservatory-style dining room from which you can enjoy the spectacular views. Through the French windows you enter a part-shaded patio where you may dine al fresco and enjoy the sun.

The kitchen is part open-plan with easy access to the dining area. It is very well equipped with generous refrigeration, micro-wave, dishwasher and gas hob/fan assisted oven. There is plenty of glassware, crockery and cutlery, etc. The standard of furnishing throughout is of high quality with hi-fi, satellite TV and DVD equipment together with a surround sound system in the living area. There is internet access in the dining room. Two log-burning fires and a unique under-floor heating system provide heating when necessary. The plug sockets are mainly English 3-pin.

There is also a family suite on this level consisting of a double room with en suite shower and toilet and an adjoining bedroom containing two large bunk beds.

 

At the lower level, the swimming pool separates two wings of the villa containing three other bedrooms. On the left is the Master Bedroom with super-king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom. On the right are two twin bedrooms with their own shower suites. Two cots are available for tiny visitors. Bed-linen and towels are provided. However, guests are requested to bring their own beach towels.

All bedrooms are furnished to a high standard with splendid views. There are mosquito screens and security shutters on all bedroom windows and all rooms have ceiling fans.

The pool, which can be heated during cooler months, has plenty of sunbeds and seating arrangements with a table and seats under a shaded area. There is also a large covered patio area with comfortable outdoor furniture. The barbecue in the garden is just a few steps down from the pool. It incorporates a traditional bread oven for those who like to experiment with local cooking methods!

The housekeeper/maid, Natalia, works Monday to Friday and until midday on Saturday. She does all the cleaning, laundry and ironing required by visitors. She is happy to baby-sit by arrangement.

Good shopping facilities exist in Loule, the local market town, a five-minute drive away. Market day is Saturday and worth a visit. There is a large supermarket called Modelo not far from the centre of the town which sells nearly everything. Try the new Continente supermarket along the S.Bras road on the way to Loule. There are other excellent shopping facilities in Faro, Almancil, Albufeira and Portimao.

The cards of restaurants which have been recommended by our visitors are kept in the villa and updated regularly. These are all within easy reach and any new ‘finds’ or comments on existing venues are welcomed.

The Villa is looked after by our housekeeper/maid, Natalia. She does the cleaning and some washing and ironing. She also looks after the Villa next door. She speaks enough English to cope with most situations and is happy to baby-sit, by arrangement. Excellent shopping facilities are to be found in Loule, Almancil and Faro. There is also the Algarve Shopping complex near Albufeira. The Lisbon-Spain motorway is about five minutes away, putting the Villa within easy reach of most of the Algarve resorts, golf courses and other attractions.

The villa comprises 4 bedrooms in total; 2 double, 2 twin and 2 cots, 4 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The property also has 1 double bunk bed located in the Adjoining a double bedroom. This gives room for up to 8 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

The villa has 4 bathrooms and 4 WCs for your party's use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm.

The villa has television video, dvd, satellite/cable. The music system will play cassettes, cds, radio.

There is room for 8 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. The open fire can be used to create a comfortable atmosphere. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a dish washer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

The villa is in a quiet area but you may hear occasional noise. It has a private south facing swimming pool, a south facing garden, a south facing patio area, a south facing balcony, sea views, panoramic views, interesting views, a barbeque. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.

The villa is right beside swimming.

Close to the villa you will find a beach, flying, historic sites, a food shop.

Within easy reach of the villa you will find sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, tennis, a sports center, scuba diving, a museum, a theatre/cinema, shopping areas, a themepark, a restaurant.

Richard says: "Very spacious for the ten of us. Natalia the maid looked after us very well. Tim was a deep well of local information. The view was something to die for, very hard to beat. Long cool drinks on a balmy night looking out over approx 30 miles of coast line from a hill top retreat. Only 15 minutes from the airport yet in the middle of peacful countryside. Nearby Loule supplied evrthing we needed food wise. Including some reasonably priced bars and restaurants giving an authentic Portuguese flavour."
