Pass through the iron gate and you will find yourself in a bougainvillea-covered garden. Unlock the heavy front door, and you are in a marble entry hall with steps leading up to your second-floor apartment. The only thing above you is the spacious roof-top terrace. In your apartment you will find everything you need to enjoy a comfortable and economical holiday: the beds are made, towels hang in the bathroom (with tub and hand-held shower), and the kitchen is well-equipped. Your host will bring you breakfast in the morning if you wish. Otherwise, you determine how much to cook for yourself and how often to visit one of the several excellent restaurants in walking distance. 

When savvy tourists visit Luxor, they dont stay in the bustling city itself, but in the quiet, garden community of El Gazeera. Most tourists attractions are located on the West Bank of the Nile, so you save yourself a daily boat ride or lengthy drive across the bridge. (Only the Karnak and Luxor Temples and the Luxor Museum are on the East Bank all of the tombs, Deir el Bahari, and several temples are located on the West Bank.) Though quiet, this area has everything you need: small grocery stores, coffee shops and internet cafes, camel and donkey rides, taxis to take you anywhere in the region, and a nice mixture of international tourists and locals with ready smiles. 

Property owner Farag is a professional cab driver who frequently serves delegations of French, British, American, and other tourists. He speaks both English and French. He has even appeared in a French magazine! He and his borther had this villa built to their specifications they are especially proud of the high ceilings. Farag will be happy to look in on you each day, help you arrange your schedule, run errands, or leave you entirely alone if that is your preference!  

Large rooftop terrace has casual furniture, lighting and electricity, and an unobstructed view of Luxor Temple across the Nile. May be shared with occupants of second unit. Gas oven and burners in kitchen, wall unit A/C in both bedrooms.
