There is a Boat (Balancal) available to hire for coastal trips, dolphin/whale watching and deep-sea fishing for those who like an action packed holiday!! We are wheelchair accessible. For those keen golfers the Palheiro Golf is not far away. The city of Funchal is a mere 10km away where there are plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. The airport is just 15km away so you don’t have a long drive after your flight!! Those looking for luxury will not be disappointed with our luxury apartment!!
 

Palheiro Village is situated within Palheiro Estate by the Palheiro Golf course on the south east coast of Madeira Island, 10 minutes by car from the capital, Funchal, and 15 minutes from the airport. The apartment has stunning views over the bay of Funchal. Palheiro Village is an attractively designed and well-located development of freehold apartments and villas forming a closed condominium of only 85 luxury units with private car parking, landscaped gardens, and facilities including pool, pool bar and reception. Golf is situated on Madeira Island some 10 km east of Funchal with magnificent views overlooking the town and bay and is set within the stunning 200 year old Palheiro Estate. The 18-hole par 72 course was designed by Cabell Robinson and opened in 1993. Palheiro Golf was changed in 2003. Two holes were replaced, and a 6 hole academy course was created. The result is a stunning 18 hole challenge with breathtaking views, fast undulating greens, well placed bunkers and tight fairways that reward accurate play. Palheiro Golf winds around the Palheiro Estate which is famous for its pine forests, centennial trees, flowering shrubs and lush vegetation. The Palheiro Golf clubhouse, perched 500 meters above sea level, boasts a panoramic terrace which commands unlimited views of the Funchal harbour and the Atlantic Ocean.
